Well you didn't do it. Reconciled a lot of nuggets. Does Karole survive? Reconcile the carrot or stick futures? Looking forward to the next chapter of WaWW's.
Excellent story! I laughed, I cried, I masturbated. What more could you ask for? Mary Lou Retton doing back flips as Tiny Tim? Nah. I was a little worried about spending a few hours reading this when I saw it listed under Horror but I was not disappointed. 5 Stars.
I haven't read "WaWW" yet, but I will! This is amazing (as in GOOD) writing. I did not personally serve in the military, but I was an Air Force brat in an earlier time. Each word feels right, and these characters are so real, both in their joy and pain. I've read or seen many adaptations of 'A Christmas Carol' and this is one to remember. Dickens' Tiny Tim could say with his little childlike faith and goodness, "God bless us, every one." There's not a Tim here, so at the risk of reading in a bit too much, this story itself in its own way creates a similar feeling. Good work, Duleigh.
As a retired Air Force MSgt that has been to every place mentioned except for south dakota this story really got the details right. I will be reading the rest of the story, as paul harvey would say, and you just keep telling your stories. Enjoyed this version of dickens tale so much. Thanks for publishing.

Glad you cleared up the questions about the spirits and the accident scene. In the accident chapter waww, I couldn't figure out how Karole new about all that history. Now I understand. This was an enlightened story. Thanks for the trip.
Not really a problem; just a funny typo. Our heroes are described as making "gentile love." As people from Minnesota certainly would, of course, but it does seem redundant.
