A good story, could have been a five-star, but....
It starts out as a Regency Romance: Henry's Mama doesn't want to invite Charles to a ball, since he isn't the correct social status - but her son is married to Charles' twin sister. We have Lady Scunthorpe (or whatever her name is) behaving badly.
Yet the setting is America, possible the Jacksonian era!
Too many inconsistencies, but Charles and Caroline are well matched.
