Re Don87654, you might want to rethink your statement. According to Masters and Johnson et. Al., rape fantasies are common in a majority of women, and men as well. That doesn't mean women want to be raped, but it certainly does mean they find it erotic.

As to whether rape is natural, that probably depends on your personal definition of natural. However, given that men tend to want sex almost any time they see an attractive woman, and given that primative man was stronger and faster than primative woman, you might make a safe bet that rape was more probable in antiquity than it is now. Would that qualify as natural in your book? I was relieved that you didn't apply the word "normal" to rape. Normal is a setting on a washing machine, and should never be applied to people.
