Waking up to find Trevor gone, Kristi wasn't surprised. The hotel room felt colder, emptier without his presence, but she felt a strange sense of contentment. As she picked herself up from the couch, she couldn't help but smile to herself. "Goodbye, Trevor," she whispered into the emptiness, cherishing the memories of the extraordinary night that was now part of her own history.
