Second third or fourth reading I'm losing count. One of my favorites next to Lady Killer and Needles and Delaney. Q is one good writer.

I'd buy and read this if it was turned into a book. Watch the movie too if it became a film (in this story he wrote the book and it became a film, so why not in real life?)Yes there are some typos but small errors like that don't spoil the story. Such a good story. BardnotBard

I loved the story, I thought the poison oak was going to have a mention a little after the opening. I was curious how bad she got it.

Realistic and relatable. Nothing more needs to be said.

This is the most honest and professional sports commentary channel today.

Loved it! With a little editing, (for obvious reasons) this could be made into a Hallmark movie, 5 stars +

I used more kleenex reading this story than any other story I have read in Literotica. And I have read this story three times. I loved it.

Too good. All your stories are actually too good.

I was with you all the way. I love this story, and I agree with the other laudatory comments especially the one about it being a Hallmark movie.

great story. "Imminent domain" should be eminent domain. <refers to the power of the government to take private property and convert it into public use, referred to as a taking.>

This was a great story. The flow was perfect and kept my interest, I laughed, I cried, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing,

Wonderful story. Nicely done. This story deserves wider publication. Suggest you contact an agent.

A tremendous read. Not sure how many times I have read it now but it is one that I keep coming back to. It really would make a great movie.

Great story! You sure have a way of writing that just captures the heart of those reading so that they can't put your story down. I wonder how many people have read this story multiple times? By reading a number of the comments. it appears that a lot have. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to read more of your stories.

Even though Im a city slicker Im loving the inclusion of some rich NC union history - not to mention I grew up going up to one of those small mountain towns every summer and I love getting reminded of the only grocery store within 30 miles being a modest Dollar General

Can you believe that soon I will have been writing here for ten years? I never imagined I'd last that long. I figured I would run out of story ideas long before now. Instead I've filed over a hundred story ideas yet to be written. I'm retiring in a few weeks. I'm going to us...
