great story and well written. Had to read it 3 times. It was that good, but lots of unanswered threads left hanging. Hope you plan on tying them off at some point.

Cheers
Loved the concept of Canada going to the dark side but thought Alicia might have questioned it more. Great story but perhaps too many the ads left open for a sequel. 5⛤
Yeah, she could have questioned it more, but believe me, when you're busted up bad and laid up, work is a low priority
Bravo! Bravo! An excellent written story. The 2/3 of story read like David Balducci thriller. Hope there is sequel😊🙏
Duleigh,
Apologies, I meant before the mission. I'm surprised Alicia survived anyway. But that's the point of your story.
Secondly, "the ads" was supposed to be "threads". I hope you have plans for Ming's and her revenge in a sequel.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
This is better than many of the books I have read over the years. You really nailed this story perfectly with awesome characters and a wonderful plot. I was totally blindsided by Sid setting her up and the part about Q giving a monologue was hilarious yet spot on. I look forward to reading more of Alicia and Ming. Thanks for giving something awesome to enjoy overnight.

Thank you JD. This story actually wrote itself. It was a bit rough at first but once it started to open up, it really began to fly. I had to chop it off at 26K words because I'd still be writing if I didn't. Don't worry about reading more, there's plenty of folks that want nanobots and not all of them are nice.
Your story is worthy of inclusion in a "year's best" anthology or magazine. I'll be looking for part 2. Thank you!
Interesting read, I have to see the first AI story in the list, that I loved reading. On to the next part...
First of your work I've read. I'll rectify that soon. Excellent story, very well told. 5*
