Why did you not keep the story going with clarisse and her family?

Thank you for not finishing this it was way too much with bringing the dad into it so but it doesn't work that way not even in a fantasy story the premise of the story is the aliens adjusted the hormones to a extremely high and more importantly dangerous level the age old instinct would have kicked in fully the 2 males would have fought for dominance they wouldn't have just faced each other down and the woman wouldn't have been able to stop them in fact she wouldn't have wanted to stop them and with hormone levels being that high off the charts it would end up killing 1 if not all of them there would not have been time for the rest of the events in the series so everything after part of chapter 2 was reaching just to write something more in the series so again thanks for not finishing it
