"Heather-" Becca said.

"God, I should have known," Heather said, her shock turning into a barely contained sneer. Her judgemental gaze was fixed on me, not on Becca, but I could feel Becca tensing in my hands as if she were the one that was the focus.

Heather didn't stick around for any more conversation. She about-faced and headed right back down towards the cabins, her yoga pants-covered ass shifting agitatedly as she strutted away.

"Shit," Becca sighed.

I exhaled and turned back to her, leaving one hand on her waist but dropping the other so she didn't feel trapped. "Becca..."

"No," Becca shook her head. "You know what? Fuck her." She stopped watching the hallway and turned back to look at me. "We aren't doing anything wrong. Cassidy knows and endorses this. We're falling for each other. We can kiss, and make out, and do whatever we want. I shouldn't feel like I can't do that."

"I agree," I said.

"I'm not just the person in charge of the trip," Becca said, still trying to convince herself she hadn't made a mistake.

"Not by a mile," I agreed with her. "You are so much more than that."

She took a deep breath and nodded. "So fuck her," Becca said a little more quietly.

"I'd rather not," I said with a little smirk, putting my other hand on her waist again. "I'd much rather fuck you."

She laughed and shook her head, her silvery blonde hair falling to the side. "Good answer, Tiger," she said. "We need to find a time later. I want you so bad."

"I want you too," I said and kissed her again. The eggs started to get cold because we couldn't quite make the decision to pull away from each other.

I find it amusing when us anonymous users fight in the comments….

That said general advice for authors is to primarily use “he/she said” as a tag. It’s pretty invisible to most western audiences and helps maintain the pacing of a scene. PG Wodehouse’s style is widely considered out of date. People don’t write like Shakespeare either. Doesn’t mean a piece is written incorrectly.

But enough about changing writing styles and how it’s probably better to not take advice from random internet people (even one as sexy and smart as myself)…. Thanks for the chapter! I’ve been enjoying these stories. I prefer my smut to have some heart to it ^.^

That panic attack is setting off all kinds of red flags for me. I feel like Cassidy and Robbie need to fess up everything about the app to the girls in "the circle" like yesterday. Several of them are going through some serious shit and they really can't make informed decisions without knowing EVERYTHING that might be affecting their mental state. And even the ones who aren't going through some shit deserve to know so that they can decide if they still trust Robbie and Cassidy even though those two could be mind controlling them into accepting stuff they wouldn't have. We know they aren't, but the girls don't know that, and they deserve to have the information and then come to their own conclusions.

THanks for another great chapter.

Kitta, I’m afraid I disagree. The previous comment has merit especially when two characters are talking. I said, she said is clumsy and irritating. Read some P G Wodehouse to see how a real author does it.

Ignore the comment about "said" being dull. Trying to liven it up with forced imaginative descriptors of how a person said something makes a story difficult to read. Keep on keeping on.
