I understand your kind apology for the delay between chapters, but it worked out really well because it led to my rereading chapter 3 so that I could fully understand the progression and work up to the performance. I’m really enjoying this, so rereading parts is a plus, not a negative! Bravo – looking forward to more.

So glad to see Alex and Grey back for another chapter and there's no need to apologize for the wait. A story this good is well worth waiting for. I've read many Dom/sub stories here on Lit, but I don't think I've ever read a better on than this and I believe that's due to the deepening bond between these two men. They are absolutely perfect together like yin and yang. #4 is another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ chapter.

I'm annoyed bc my comment was lost so this will be shorter. I really am enjoying this. I very much like the fact you educate the reader at the same time. That said i really want to see more of the emotional development. I have to assume it is mostly the biproduct of the kink relationship bc we haven't seen them do much else. I know that would cause enough but what has caused him to like him as a person? I gather that grey has enough experience that despite the aligning of their likes etc he doesn't fall for all his subs so what makes Alex special? Maybe a vanilla situation or two to illustrate would be good. I would love to see Alex's perspective also. Is he feeling the emotional entanglement too? Does their contact let the renegotiate time after us finished and how far are we into their time together? I really like these two and am happy to wait as long as i must as long as you keep them coming. 😉

@cannd - as they are contracted for 6 months, the exhibitions take place at approx. months 2 and 4. There are 2-3 more chapters on the way, and while their backgrounds won't be the primary focus, more about their histories, interactions outside of the bedroom, and personal lives will show up. I'm toying with the idea of writing this story again from Alex's perspective at some point. I've never done a shifted viewpoint rewrite and I'll have to give the first chapter a try and see how I feel about such a thing before deciding :)
