Ridiculous premise. You paint a picture of a pathetic man. Next installment? He takes a .38 and puts it in his mouth and pulls the trigger.

Well, since he just sentenced a person to die, will he do it again? Yeah, he would since he is a total wimp and unable to seek any kind of justice. But that is the point of the story, right? There is no justice here. Maybe the mafia guy will get tired of using Candy/Ann but he would not give her back, would he? Yeah, if he mindfucked her enough she could be a mole and rat out more opposition people. She would be sweet and loving to her ex-husband but be a total bitch in her real role. Or, maybe the mafia guy will have John have sex with another woman while Candy/Ann watched? So many options but none of them will have any happy ending.

would love to hear Ann side of the story and what has happened to her

We need sequel to this story to see what happens to Ann in the end .Unfortunately it will end with her remaining as Candy .Ann will be history and forgotten.
