You are amazing! I'm so glad I was wrong when I surmised that the previous chapter was the last one. This one was so good! I'm wondering if you intend to give us your version of The Life and Times of the Virgin Queen next? I do hope so! But whatever you decide, this chapter gets 5 stars.
Thank you so much, Olwen, it is good to have your appreciation xxxxx
Well my darling, you fooled me. I, as had Olwen, assumed the last was The Last. Happy to be proven wrong, but I should have known better, my darling. Yet another exciting installment, and fun to read! Looking forward to what comes next!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 and as always, my ❤️, your Mama S.
I so love your stories. This series is excellent . The blending of history and the political intelligence of Pippa was perfect.
Aftermath or prequel to a greater story?
You have already explored intimacy with Queen Elizabeth in a much earlier series, so perhaps there can be an encounter between Lady Pippa and Rahab?
But I am getting way ahead of myself.
It is completely up to you, darling Pixie, where to venture next.
Dr B; Absolutely brilliant Pixie, I learnt so much about what happened to Anne of Kleve's in this last part, all you hear is that Henry was not interested in her, the marriage was ended and that's it. You have covered the history of his last marriages and the reign's of both Edward and Mary. I did not know that Anne also died of cancer, the same as Mary, but I did know she was buried in the Abby. Naturally there was some `hot' sex, both with Anne, but also Elizabeth, you cunning girl. A brilliant series, up there with your best, five star's naturally, now back to our sexy vicar, please, pretty please. OXOXOX.
Whew!!! What a whirlwind of of succession through death. It makes one appreciate how tenuous an individual’s grip on life was back then; even (or maybe especially) if that individual was a King or Queen. or a member of the royal court!!! Meanwhile: The end for Anna & Pippa was bittersweet - a kinky love unto death. *sigh* The twist, with Pippa falling in with Elizabeth, was perfect. Two “survivors”. (I wonder if Pippa ever spanked Queen Bess?) *smiles* Ultimately, this was a great love / survival story that might have happened. Thank you so much for this wonderful version of history, Pippa Pixie!!! 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
Thank you so much Mama. I wanted to wrap this one up with a surprise ending xxxxx
Ah, darling Amadeus, as ever you tread closely to my own thoughts. It is something I have considered, and the temptation grows. I am so glad that you enjoyed this series xxxxx
An interesting take on what remains a very murky period in England's history. That Anne was very close to both Mary and Elizabeth is well documented as was Henry's approval. I was not aware that Anne converted to Catholicism during Mary's reign though that was probably a wise move on her part. That Elizabeth indulged in some sapphic dalliances I find very believable and it was very likely her advisors did not know how to handle it so The Virgin Queen narrative became a useful smokescreen especially as she was very popular with the people. Well done Pixie an interesting tale well told. Five stars is a given.
So well crafted — pace, intrigue, intimacy and historical insight. Surely you could continue (or share with us something else from your creative imagination); entirely up to you, of course. This story of Anna vibrant drama, so refreshing, and the intimate moments passionate.
Thank you so much Dr B - and I will be back to the sexy Vicar next - so glad you enjoyed this xxxxx
Thank you, Anonymous. I am greatly tempted by the challenge of Elizabeth - who would, I suspect, have been the one doing the spanking xxxxx
Thank you so much Alice. Yes, there is nothing in this fiction which is improbable. I am so glad that you enjoyed it, and always love your comments xxxxx
Thank you so much Migbird. Yes, historical dramas are where I feel most at home - so let us see. Your comments certainly encourage me xxxxx
Dearest Pixie, your writing continues to excel and excite!
You create intimate historical drama that is compelling and arousing.
Love the way you develop characters and deliver intriguing plot in such a short story.
You are the best!
Brilliant, just bloody brilliant Pixie.
I don't know fact from fiction, as far as the life of Henry the 8th and his many wives, go, but this story could quite easily be sold to me as the 'real history'.
Pixie once again I became absorbed with the storytelling, you have that knack to grab a reader and pull them into your storyline.
The character of Pippa, although not real [or was she?] you built and it is quite believable that she was infact real.
Well done my love XXXXX
Thank you, Bobbi - I made her up - but I am glad she is believable xxxxx
Pixie, Pixie, Pixie, Pixie...!!!! You have been my first reading today and the last sentence is an epitome of your captivating style: "Unlike you, my Pippa, who can idolise me more intimately."
We all should idolise you as the best authoress in Literotica!
Dear Miss Pixie, your historical fiction stories are always my favorites, always so incredibly well done, always the voices and behaviors of all the characters so well crafted to match the way it was in the subject period. I agree with the comment from AliceGee - very clever speculation on her part for sure - about the believability of possible sapphic indulgence by Elizabeth I, and the legendary Virgin Queen proclamation by the Queen might well have been the “spin” that her political advisors convinced her to say to keep it quiet! The only “fly in the ointment” in this story is that Mary did not die of cancer, she was actually executed after 19 years of imprisonment, in one of the most famously gruesome beheadings of the era. That said, the story rates a 10 out of 5 as written, so the artistic license taken with Mary’s death only drops it to 9 out of 5? Honestly, I don’t know how you do it Pix, with all you have going on, you must be a lifelong student of history and how life was lived in the various periods you have written about.
P.S. Has your great writer’s brain Imagined any updates on the intrepid adventures of Robin the sexy Vicar? Wishing the best of health and life to you always. Regards
Now I have the image of the younger Queen Bess spanking the older Pippa’s pert and sexy bottom.dancing around in my head….and it’s…wonderful.!!! 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
Dear Shurlin - thank you. The Queen Mary who died of cancer was Mary 1, the sister of Queen Elizabeth. The one who was executed was Mary Queen of Scots, their cousin. Thank you for your kind comments, and yes, I am going to get back to Robin soon xxxxx
Miss Pixie, well I learned a couple of things since my comment yesterday, firstly I was totally confused about which Mary you were referring to in your story, and even worse, I had not even understood that there was a Mary I (i.e Mary Tudor) at all. It is clear that I have always misunderstood all the royal transitions between Henry VIII and Elizabeth I becoming queen, I always thought it was only Mary Stuart in between them. Which leads to the second lesson learned, and that is, as I am an American, never to second guess Pixie on matters of English history!!!!!! So story rating back to 10 out of 5, and sincerest apologies Pix!
P.S. I did some Googling on Mary I, short reign and life, determined to reverse the Protestant reforms in England, and burned a lot of clergy and other people at the stake, for which she earned the nick name “Bloody Mary”. Difficult period to be an English citizen. I must admit, current day politics in the States manifests some similarities - minus the people literally burned at the stake - “Trumpism” vs. democracy and our European Allies and the rights and well being of everyone except himself and his family. Very divisive and infuriating times to be an American citizen. Millions of us are trying hard to bring back reason and order out of the chaos, for our own sakes and to preserve the world’s confidence in us. All the best to you always, Regards
Thank you Shurlin - it is a very confusing period - and yes, how we need reason and order xxxxx
Bravo! A beautiful piece of historical erotica, I'm intrigued about what happens next. Will we hear more of Pippa's story?
As always Pixie,a well told story with that usual Pixie way to make readers feel alive. Thank you for sharing !
I sat glued to my screen reading all parts of this beautiful work. My tears have flowed but I smiled as well and just for the record.........the sex was amazing. I loved it all
