Great start. I'm not sure if this marriage can be saved. Considering her lying, and her thinking that having sex with him wouldn't mean anything to their marriage I think its time to divorce her. Of course I think some serious payback needs to happen to Oliver - at the very least his wife needs to be brought up to speed. Maybe make his divorce and exclusion from his wife 's and kid's lives a reality - also cut down his money. He does deserve a serious beating - possibly permanent harm to his reproductive equipment, but there can't be any jail time.

In addition to all of the other obvious questions that need answering I hope the mystery of all her extra time at work not equating to any flexi time available gets answered directly.

Great chapter, the snake slithering around Karen needs to have his head cut off, make that both heads.

Hope part 2 is worth the wait, not sure how wife can fix this and keep any kind of consistent storyline.

Generally, the story is well written with good dialogue combined with narrative when appropriate. There are some significant plot gaps leaving me thinking "WTF" a few times. He works from home, notices changes in his marriage continuing to escalate, and all he does is keep his ears perked? His showing up at "girls night" outside the timing he told his wife is the only sensible thing he does. After he discovers his wife has a second phone, he doesn't look for it or confront her immediately? Really? At the end of this chapter, he dumps the purse and the second phone falls out. Does he have her open it for inspection in front of her parents? No. Really? As he unravels in front of them the deceit of her relationship with another man, they start firmly in his court, then switch immediately to hers? Make up your mind! 3.8*

Not bad,not going to rate it until chapter 2. But honestly, not sure how this can end up with anything but divorce. This went beyond Karen being naive, there is no way she simply wasn't planning to fuck Oliver& made herself feel better by saying he needed it. She took like l700 for a spa for Oiliver and her to fuck?

The worst part of this story is her parents, they see the depth of her betrayal yet make statements like hubby needs to get his head out of his ass? If you can reconcile this God bless you, but please don't make it that it was Karen's big heart, she allowed herself to be seduced.

5 stars. Looking forward to the next chapter. I don't see how he could take her back. She lies effortlessly to for months, without the slightest bit of guilt. She was planning to have sex with another man. Believes, "it's just sex" and it won't hurt him if he doesn't know. Oliver didn't cause thee beliefs; he just took advantage of her beliefs. Even if she got took in, she still has those beliefs. I don't think he could ever trust her. No kids to be harmed. Ten years have been invested, but still best to walk away.

Why on earth would he want to stay married to Karen? She knew exactly what she was doing and was getting off on the attention from the younger Oliver. She methodically planned to cheat on her husband and make him a cuckold on their tenth anniversary. The fact that she never got to fuck Oliver is immaterial. Its the months of lies, deceit and her attitude that cheating on her husband was acceptable and something she deserved that reveals her true lack of character. Just because they've been together for ten years doesn't mean that Karen is still a worthwhile marriage partner. Thankfully they never had any kids. Makes divorce that much easier.

She has totally forgotten her husband, been caring on emotional affair, plans to bed her new man on her wedding anniversary, lies to her husband at every turn. She is doing all this under the flag of helping Oliver with his self confidence, which is BS. She knows exactly what she is doing, just because it all came to a head before she screwed him does not matter. Time to move on.

She doesn't deserve the anniversary trip. And she has proven she is a habitual liar. While I do hope they reconcile down the road (if it's earned) she does not deserve to go on the anniversary trip. Like many, I get the sense that a reconciliation is coming. And that in spite of the fact that he had been warning her many times, she has repeatedly lied to him, she has repeatedly put the Lothario in front of her husband, has been burning her flex time for Lothario, had planned to sleep with him on her anniversary and forgot the anniversary altogether. Doesn't sound like a good reconciliation situation, but if it is, I hope it's for a damn good reason.

Problem is that thereis no place for the story to go.

Never mind that the wife is engaged in a series of never ending lies and bullshit stories about what she is doing and who she is doing it with. Never mind that the wife is in constant denial about her developing relationship with Oliver.

The worst problem is that she doesn't see why her need to fix and help Oliver is a problem for the marriage.

This is a serious character flaw and a mental issue reflecting of deeper psychological problems for wife has. Unless these issues get addressed and they follow chapter there is no chance to save this marriage and there's no reason to have a chapter 2.

Does the MC suffer from multiple personality disorder? One moment he's figured out all of her lies and the next he's a gullible fool thinking she is telling the truth. The spin between those two was enough to make me dizzy, which is not a good sign for a story.

I hope you improve the story in future chapters, but right now it's a giant mess.

No they do not, stockings are worn for special occasions and are generally of higher quality than standard going to work tights, there may have also been the give away bumps of the suspender clips (but not in this case) or Oliver could have been lying as he is a manipulative bastard.
