Lol - so, a fancy French restaurant in Minneapolis? It's clearly not Sophie's, but I couldn't help but wonder if David and Angela have ever been there... ππ
Anyway, I am enjoying this story, and the calibre of the writing is a marvellous reprieve from the litany of erroneous-homophone ridden dross that comprises vast quantities of the content here. I sincerely look forward to voyeuristically witnessing Sara's further debasement, and, hopefully, seeing her increasingly embracing an ever-more thoroughly wanton, debauched and depraved lifestyle, all while cucking that pathetic, anal-retentive, superstitious, dipshit of a fiancΓ© she's burdened with! π
@triane -- Ha! That thought did cross my mind when writing the scene. Honestly had the idea occurred to me I would have set it at the same place. Well who knows, Sara is a foodie so she might wind up at Sophie's in a future installment so I can start to build the SenorSmutiverse. :-D
LoL -- I wonder if that stone wall overlooking the river is still there, more than a decade later...
In any case, with regard to that other Minneapolis' couple's (infamous?) adventures, which I understand your limited ability to relate here, I just wish that you'd clarified what her great mistake was! I never could figure out whether it was the surprise date with the waitress, the consequences of the strawberry-interlude, or something else entirely? A dozen+ years later, and many. many re-reads since, that question remains a haunting, pure mystery! ...any chance of getting a hint or two about which? π€ππ
Whether or not you're inclined to provide some illumination, it's nice to see you back writing again!
@triane You have to remember it's been a *long* time. IIRC is was her dalliance with the girl in the kitchen -- the girl was going to become obsessed with her and threaten to expose Angela unless Angela agreed to a committed relationship with her, at which point David was going to get the girl hooked on drugs and turn her out as a hooker. The story was gonna get DARK and David was going to leave everyone's life a flaming shambles before the end because he was an incredibly destructive sociopath and got off on destroying people.
Wow! π³π€―
That's super-dark, and I had no inkling whatsoever that it was headed in such a direction! Tbh, I had it pegged as a redemption arc for David with he and Angela accompanying eachother on a journey of mutually-rewarding metamorphosis and exploration!
So, almost diametrically opposite to your ambition! LOL! Thanks for rhat though, it's cool to have some closure in knowing how things were intended to go! π
@triane FWIW I think my initial intentions were to take it along a path like you described, but the more I learned about David and the more I explored the situation, the more I became convinced that no happy ending was possible. David was just too awful a human being for any good to come of him.
Great work! I love the detailed descriptions of her feelings and much more...
Keep on writing
Many Thanks
Loving this series! Well written internal debates and worries, not to mention the great sex scenes. Looking forward to many more of Sara's journey. Thanks for sharing!
