An interesting beginning. Lots of open ended places to explore. Curious about the lack of sex between husband and wife at this point ... why? I guess that is to be determined.
Nice story...
The realities of life. The dialogue flowed and it felt natural.
I enjoyed it.

Well done. Nice start. Looking Howard to what comes next. Already don’t like hubby. Pretty sure that’s intentional.
@ShelbyDawn57 - thanks. Hubby is just a guy. The two of them have lost their way. It happens. Em
Wonderful beginning to what I am sure will be a fun, sexy and emotional series.
@Djmac1031 - I know where I want to get. Just pesky details like how to get there 😬 Em
Really enjoyed this and looking forward to more.
It must be good to get good comments from @cagivagurl who is one of the best writers on Lit
Great series potential and off to a captivating start, short as it was. Looking forward to the next chapter! Thanks!
OMG this was superb. What a well-drawn window into the life of a mom (and a disconnected husband). You really channeled your writing advisors well. I'm looking forward to how things develop with Sarah.
@toesucker1 - thank you. As you say, quite a few people helped. I hope you enjoy the following chapters. Em
This was really excellent writing. You paint a very believable image of the life and emotions. I usually pass on stories in this category, but I am glad i read this, and look forward på the continuation.
I like the slow burn so far, with excellent dialogue. Looking forward to some more gymnastics later!
@Anon - thank you so much. I hope chapter two is of the same standard. 😊 Em
Just to say, if you have some constructive criticism, then bring it on. But whiny misogyny will just be deleted. Don’t waste your time writing it.
Loved it. Great sexual tension. It's got me stirred up. Can't wait to read more.
@Anon - as it happens, I submitted chapter 2 (of 3) just today. Should be up in two or so days. Emily
her hubby is lame and a weasel...leaving his wife w/all the kids-taking-care-of stuff...
deserves whatever happens next...
@roverone - as in life, one person’s perspective is just that - watch this space 😊 Emily
