Impossibly difficult timeline. For most of the first page, I didn't know where they were or to what time the events concerned. Kudos for ditching the boilerplate LW back-story, but working it into the story requires a little more set-up, such as a discernable reflection or an event which precipitates MC recalling the past. As a result, interest quickly waned. Not close to one of your best.
