The airport in Alexandria's Crystal City was only a short walk from the apartment that Toby shared with Hardesty. Weary, he dropped his suitcase just inside the apartment door. The apartment was deserted. By instinct, Toby moved to Hardesty's bedroom rather than his own. He was home. When Hardesty returned, he'd find Toby in his bed—waiting, having realized that this was the arrangement Toby still wanted.

AG317 months agoI'm a little more than half way through the Hardesty series, and this is one of the best. Normally I prefer my erotica without much attention to plot and/or character, but I found myself appreciating this story in much the same way I would appreciate a good detective story with a little love interest. Which is not to say that there's not a lot of good, rough sex. There always is in this series.
