I would have given it 5 but I had some difficulty tracking the plot changes. The story structure was unusually complex for erotica, and that contributed to my difficulties. I probably should have scored it more generously. I’m a scientist and I read challenging material all the time. The story was well-crafted in trendy lingo, and the author is clearly quite talented. I plan to read more of her stories soon.
