This was an interesting and at times thought provoking holiday story with a surprise ending that although less sentimental than I expected, was still a happy one and perfectly timed, arriving on Xmas eve.

You got me – great twist at the end! Two guys trying to help the homeless in different ways wind up getting it on, and now I feel sorrier for Prof Gil than reporter Cliff; Cliff came back from his crisis, but Gil’s still lost without James. I know you didn’t label this ‘Pt 1’, but I’d love a follow up for the day after Christmas get together!

A lovely story. Well written. Excellent twist at the end.
