You do an incredible job building suspense, and portraying Pennie's feelings of helplessness. I also love the mixture of firm coercion, unabashed appreciation, and concern from officer Doreen. The world feels high tech, while remaining believable and grounded. Can't wait to find out all the capabilities of Machine X!
