I think just keeping this open relationship one sided fits the stories original premise better. Playing with maddies feelings and fears is what made the first chapters so exciting and special. I think that focusing the story on those cuckquean adventures, where every roommate plays a part, like when they took her downstairs in the store is where the story was at its best. Creating three parallel storylines, like in this chapter make it feel kind of disjointed to me. They all live together but this time it was just a bunch of separated interactions. As the characters develop, what's happened this far and their thinking and emotions tell you where they want to go. I haven't had a story yet that ended up the way I originally conceived it. Loving this story, usually by this point the content has become abusive and straight cheating that I cannot continue, but your writing is keeping me at that edge where I cannot turn away! Though I am constantly scared, especially the way you write Kayla makers her seem not entirely trustworthy.

One thing that felt off in this instalment, they had that meeting because they wanted a 'break' to check in with Maddy and check she was not overwhelmed and genuinely on board. However, that meeting was established with secrecy where she didn't get to be included in the prep for that meeting, or know what it was about until it started, and she was ordered to wear a specific, revealing thing, before attendance, all while people behaved odd to her in the lead up. Obviously I cannot speak for a character you created, but in my experience that puts her in a position without power where, if she is subby like I can be, she would not really be able to attend and participate in that meeting as an equal and would still feel pressured to do what she is told to do. Everyone else got to discuss everything, and enter that meeting prepared, while she was blindsided, and then pressured into a near immediate answer without genuine time to consider it and suggest her own conditions to genuinely own it. On top of that Kayla's behaviour when it was her and Chris also emphasised the power imbalance, she deliberately did things she knew distracted Maddy and made her feel submissive. In a real world setting that would not be ok, but I get this is fiction. Personally I'd love to see Kayla get taken down a few pegs because it really does feel like she is overstepping and using her position as the 'most knowledgeable' to get away with it.

To your question, I do not think Megan should fall in love with Maddy, I feel that would put them both in a bad position no matter how you wrote it, it would feel messy in a bad way and would definitely just turn it into a poly or open relationship

It would also be nice to see Chris break the rules sometimes and be, you know, Maddy's boyfriend. I rarely post comments as well, but as someone who is both poly and in multiple power exchange (D/s) relationships, here's some quick thoughts:

- The check-in was really well structured. Downside is that it ended up being pressured anyway. It may be better to have the check-ins occur with a full day of nothing happening, so Maddy has the chance to think through how she feels about everything. ("What will it take to make you say yes?" is the paraphrase of what Megan says to Maddy)

- Safewords are good. They should teach Maddy to use them and be comfortable using them. Newer submissives entering the lifestyle don't always want to safe word, as they think that's disappointing their dominant partner.

- You can absolutely have a romantic and loving relationship with a 24/7 power exchange (IE, it's completely realistic for Megan to fall in love with Maddy, even if Maddy is always Megan's pet to some degree or another)

First, this is probably my favorite story! I love everything about it and I'm sure I will love whatever future chapters you write. Another commenter wrote about how by this point in a story its usually gotten abusive, or repetitive, or just wildly outlandish. But your story here is vibrant and interesting and is as erotic as ever.

What I think is unique about your storyline is that it allows Madison to be cucked while not only feeling turned on (the usual rationale), but she also feels positive about herself. Partly this is because everyone keeps telling her none of this is real, they care about her, and it can end at any time. But also its because Megan really can fall in love with her. Also, I think stories are usually about a transformation.

And so, to me, to back off this track and have things kind of go back to how they started is neither realistic nor desirable, and kind of "wastes" this unique setup. I think two couples should form, Kay and Chris, and Megan and Maddy. So one idea would be to have the two couples split into monogamous pairs. But I love how Kay doms Maddy. So another (hotter, to me) possibility is a more complex world, where Megan and Maddy are a loving, committed couple, but Kay and Chris are the power couple, and Megan has to concede control over Maddy to them.

I would ultimately like a situation where Chris and Kayla end up in a relationship, BUT Maddie is also part of this relationship as a submissive AND Megan & Britney are also part of the relationship as dominants in some way. My biggest issue with this direction is that I can’t picture Maddy being okay with him having a real relationship with Kayla. I don’t think that she feels that kind of connection with Megan. I love this so much. It is one of the most arousing and well written stories on here. It’s written in such a way that the reader (or at least myself) can really connect with Maddison. For this reason I don’t want her to get hurt and I hope Chris is sincere and stays faithful to her.
