This got so much weirder than i expected and it kept escalating? Maybe its post-nut clarity but now im just confused.

I don't want to spoil anything, but so far the darkness has been escalating in its corruption of Katie. One question has been: Does it have an agenda of its own? (And if so, did that now change?)
