Interesting world building, I like the whole concept. But how can someone who claims to love her turn her into that and leave her in that facility? Was turning Vanessa an accident or intentional? Revenge for years of waiting? Wanting to trap her to keep her? Did one or both of them realize one would not be enough after the addiction? Were they forcefully seperated through outside intervention? I have so many questions. If you write more I'll definitely read it but I know inspiration strikes when it wants so if this is all thanks for posting
