Well, Mom," Dax continued and the rest of us smiled at that, "She must be the bitch in charge of the pack. It seems she ruts her pack with her enormous clitoris and all females need to seek permission from her before being allowed to broadcast their heat scents around her pack." After a moment Dax said, "She's a hyena. After putting it all together it added up to spotted hyena." Dax smiled, having figured it out himself.

Mom nodded her head. "Female spotted hyenas are larger than the males and dominate them. They have a penis and use it to anally mount males and females to demonstrate that dominance."

Ebony regained complete control, "Well I have a clitoris that gets quite large, not a penis. I am looking forward to finding a tight ass to use it on. It was the first thing I thought of doing and I must admit I want it more than most anything." Then she looked around the table and held up a hand like Mom did. "Stop... I can't take it if all of you are aroused by that. I don't have the control." Her eyes flashed gold again so she closed them. I reached out to hold her and she pushed away my hand while facing downward with her eyes closed, "No. No. No. No. Don't touch me. Please." She was panting. We all held still, not saying a word. She took a deep breath to help get her breathing under control. "I almost just fucked you all. I'm serious this is dangerous with my lack of control." She started panting again and tears leaked out from her closed eyes. "I will certainly start with Suzie." She said Suzie's name all husky with a deeper resonance. "This bitch doesn't understand her place." Ebony growled and then opened her golden eyes as she slowly stood up, staring at Suzie, panting. Her erect clit could be seen tenting her dress, clearly straining mightily against the tight fabric.

I was in a panic. What if a waitress walked back in the room right now. Heck what if they looked in the window on the door. It was there to check on private dinner guest needs without actually disturbing them. All they had to do was look in and see the volumptous penis woman with glowing golden eyes and we'd really have a difficult time explaining ourselves. I swear I could hear someone approaching the door. Ebony was lifting her dress to free her confined genitalia. The footsteps were close. Ebony's fully erect clit flopped into view as her dress went up to her waist. Everyone was staring at it and Suzie stood up scared but apparently still aroused as Ebony was fully triggered. As I heard noises at the door, I raised my hand up towards the ceiling in the center of the room and spoke loudly, "Darkness!" and the room went completely black. Zero visibility. "Let's all just sit back down, please." I said. "We obviously have some things we need to work out for Ebony's benefit." The total darkness prevented everyone from looking and fantasizing about Ebony and soon chairs could be heard being moved slightly and I assumed everyone had regained their seats. Ebony was still standing directly next to me. That meant her clit was poking in the air next to my face. I think I could even feel the heat from it.

The door opened; we could all hear it. Yet no light came in. A female voice said, "What is going on in here. Something with the lights? I am so sorry everyone, please stay seated. Your safety is of top importance to us. I will call maintenance and get this sorted." There was some shuffling. "Not even my phone? What is happening? Please be patient I will find help." She closed the door.

"Ebony, are you ok?" I asked into the darkness of the room. The heat next to my face moved away and I heard her chair make some noise.

"I think I am going to be fine. I just need some help. Soon." She sounded stressed.

"Light!" and the room became normal instantly. We all were blinking and shielding our eyes against the brightness.

The waitress came back to our private room with what looked like a manager, not a maintenance person. The manager listened to her quick description and the young man asked us if we were ok because the crisis seemed to pass. It must have been a power blip he was so sorry. I was having trouble concentrating on what was being said. I was too focused on Ebony's dilemma and that I had dropped darkness on the room. Luckily Dad took care of everything and accepted the explanation from the manager. Must be something like that he said or close to it....Did I just cast a spell of was it a mental action? I couldn't tell. The memory was difficult to decipher. Don't spells have magic words? I did that with concentrated thought not spell components or such like we use when we game on Saturdays.

As the dinner seemed to be back on track, Dax said, "Ivory." I looked at him. "You have a second streak of white hair."

I shook my head at that statement and asked, "What" with confusion.

"Your blonde hair. It has two streaks of white in it now." Dax clarified for me.

Dad cleared his throat and drew our attention. He looked to make sure the door was closed again and said, "Warlock. Your ancestry will manifest in one of three ways: berserker warrior, arcane druid, or both. If you go berserker, you will physically grow in size. This is not temporary, and you will not have control to change it. If you have arcane druidic powers your hair will turn a varying amount of white. If you have both manifests, there will be a combination of the two physical changes and maybe even others, though this is not documented well. Either way, Warlock is an obvious manifestation that can be seen easily. Of course, normal people will not think too hard on it. Supernaturals will use those signals to determine your strength and it could be detrimental to have an image so readable. One streak or two versus maybe four or five."

"Gerald mentioned earlier that the accuracy of your ritual will determine the extent of your powers. The ritual sounds vague, but it is precise and has elements that can influence it. It is like having a great recipe for a tasty dish and changing ingredients slightly to magnify flavors or adjust the finished flavor profile. No matter what, you still need to make sure the dish is cooked accurately, or the finished product won't be improved, it will just be different and probably inferior to the original dish. Fundamentals matter. Sometime, perhaps when Ebony isn't so charged up and she has more control, we can discuss the ritual that you two did and compare it to a well executed ritual to gauge how close to perfection you two performed yours."

I nodded, "We can do that, Dad. Maybe just give us a week or two to get some control established. I do need to know something about arcane though, Dad. How do I cast spells or do magic? Or is it mental power? I asked. I was in huge need of information.

"Good question. There is no great answer.". Dad shrugged and continued, "ultimately you perform magic by using your thoughts, concentrated, and collected to focus on an outcome and the result happens. There are things you can do to influence the action, much like the cooking analogy I mentioned a little bit ago. You could have made darkness with just your thought. The result might have been just dimness and not darkness. You chose to elevate your voice to say Darkness! with strength and that adjusted you result, skewing it towards a more perfect result. You added a somatic component as well when you raised your hand up in the air, towards the center of the room and this gave more definition to the spell by adding boundaries. Put that all together and you had a thought of a result, a verbal exclamation and a movement and those elements gave you exactly what you wanted for a result. There is no such thing as a recipe for a spell. That shit is yours and you do what feels correct to get your result. Since your power is directly in proportion to how well your ritual was achieved, us working our way through it will be important." Dad smiled at me and finished with, "Keep in mind that I am no warlock and only repeat knowledge handed down."

We were on our third course of the meal when the topic came back full circle and we again discussed Trinity. Suzie was very excited about the property. "I think I would make a good Administrator for the property. I've been learning accounting for 2 years in high school, and I will be going to WSU for Business Management and Finance. We will need to establish some budgets for the upcoming work. Luckily, we have an architect in the group. April will be attending WSU for Architecture. We will need to talk to her. She has all the cool software for free from school. She has been taking a couple classes at WSU all year to get a jump on her future, so she is ready. We can discuss your needs with her. I think her dad might be a GC too but I'm not sure."

"GC? " I asked.

"General Contractor. I think she was raised in construction." Suzie answered.

Dad was next, "You kids are going to need to generate some income streams from that property if you are planning on supporting a couple dozen young adults on the property. You will have to juggle potential revenue streams versus accidental exposure of your personal lives to people outside your ... what are we calling this? Pack?"

"We have a few ideas," I started "Trent wants a gym so we could have some kind of membership. I want a martial arts training space, probably adjacent to the gym. We could do some kind of a fitness complex in one building and have a membership.". I saw Dax and Suzie both shaking their heads. "Damn. Are you two already banding together to vote me off the island?" I grinned at them.

"No at all.' Said Dax. "It's just too public. You can't really make that type of commitment right now, not knowing how being supernatural is going to impact your life and the lives of the pack. Remember what Gerald said? No careers will be possible."

"I really love all this pack talk." Ebony looked quite emotional like she was on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm so emotional about this. I just really like that we are all going to have our own space. We will all be together.

"Exactly." Dax pointed at Ebony to make his point. "We don't need outsiders in it. At least not right away. Revenue streams will just have to wait so we can dodge an actual witch hunt. Instead, we will take $10M dollars of your money and put it to work for you. Suzie and I have both had success with this, though mostly in a virtual setting, I am confident that we will do well with your money. Let's face it, if you never need to have strangers wandering around Trinity, it will be best." Everyone nodded in agreement.

Discussions continued as we finished our late lunch. As we sat around and talked after eating, I had to say something about family. "I would like to make a toast." I raised my glass and looked around the table. "As Ebony and I continue our life together and look to move out of our parent's house, I am appreciative that we are growing our family. Times like this where we all share a meal together are special and I hope to have many more with an even larger family."

As we all tinked our glasses together, Ebony said "To my pack."

As we sat back down, Dax glanced down at his watch and said, "I just got an email reply from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle." He dug out his phone and after a moment, "It's from one of the bishops. He is asking us to meet with their leadership on Sunday after 11AM service to discuss the property. He says the Archbishop will be available.". Dax looked at Ebony and me to see our reaction.

I offered confirmation, "We will see them tomorrow then."

"Sending reply." Dax's thumbs were a blur, "Sent." Then Dax looked at the two of us and said, "We need to make sure the two of you are ready for this meeting."

I looked at him blankly. "Huh? Of course, we are ready. We want that property." I looked at him questioningly.

"Sale of the property can be done with the legal team. We don't need anything but a signature from the leadership team." Dax replied.

"You think they know about us?" I asked, putting my arm around Ebony's shoulder.

"Do you expect The Church to be ignorant of a new supernatural power that just won The Council's lottery? They have not maintained their societal control for so long in an uninformed state." Dax asked.

Dad muttered, "Shit." Under his breath.

Dax looked at him, "I don't actually think this is so bad. Ultimately, you used the hallowed ground of The Church and now are choosing to live directly on it. Tell me if the light side counts this as a win." Dax held his arms out as he spoke, like opening to accept any opposition to his words.

"Sounds like yer right Dax." I nodded my head. "We might appear to be champions of light."

"The Church will look to make you allies." He let that soak in for a few moments. "Let's consider that for moment. You guys live a thousand years. What's more valuable, an old rundown church or an alliance with a new superpower? Suddenly I think I can get that property for $1. I recommend that you do not make any commitments to them. I think they will be happy to let the Trinity property change hands for nothing."

Confident that we would be getting the Trinity property, we wrapped up dinner, gave lots of hugs and then contacted all of our people to meet back at Trinity if they were available. We said our goodbyes to Mom and Dad and headed back to Trinity. It was mid-afternoon and we had all of our current/future pack with us around the altar.

Dax addressed the group first, "Welcome my friends. You are all here to be part of something very new and powerful. Before we begin with some transparencies via knowledge sharing, I want to remind you all that you signed NDA's saying that you will remain secretive about information related to Ebony and Ivory. Nothing you hear or see can be mentioned to people outside of this group. More than that, I want all of you to look deep inside yourselves." Dax raised his hand in the air and said, "I understand that there is magic in the world and that I am part of a group, soon to become a pack that is engaged in magical and supernatural activities. Show of hands. Raise yours if you know what I am telling you is true." He looked around the room and everyone shot their hands up I the air immediately, including Ebony and me.

"I agree that if I stay here, it may place my mortality in jeopardy since supernatural attacks may happen against Ebony and Ivory."

"Wait. What?" I interrupted Dax, putting my hand down.

"Please let me finish getting this out of the way. I need to make sure everyone understands what could happen before they agree to buy in." Dax looked at me.

"You think this could happen? Attacks from supernaturals?" My eyes were wide.

Dax turned to face me. "I expect it." We stared at each other for what felt like a long time. Ebony put her arm on my shoulder. Still looking at Dax, I raised my hand again into the air to join the rest. Dax continued, "You all know how often my logic is wrong. Know that I am correct when I say that my research and logic is heading towards the likelihood that you are all joining a supernatural militia force that is expected to protect humans from the things that go bump in the night. The shadows that creep on the edges of your peripheral vision that seem to vanish as you try to focus on them. The demons that inhabit people and nudge or bend them to do horrific acts like abducting, murdering, and coercing innocent people." Dax looked at each person in the room. Getting eye contact with them and continued, "I want everyone in Ebony's pack to go join Ebony now, please."

Dax waited for Stephanie to go stand behind Ebony. Me, Ebony and Steph were separate from the rest of the group. Dax looked around at the group. "There they are. One warlock and one hyena and she has one pack member." He pointed to each of us as he called us out. "Tell us Stephanie, how did you join Ebony's pack?"

Stephanie started to flush, turning red. She only took a moment for herself, though before answering, "She fucked my face and you all watched." After pausing for a moment, she added, "and she will do it again. I am trying to be strong for Ebony right now." She looked at Ebony and took a deep breath, slowly blowing it all out as we waited for her to finish. "I desperately want more attention from my Sistress."

Ebony leaned towards her and smelled the air, "Broadcast your beautiful smell. I approve. You will get used again. And again. As you wish."

Dax nodded at her and answered, "She will do that and more to everyone that stays here. It is how she demonstrates control over her pack. Leave now if you can't come to terms with what is to come.". He waited, looking at everyone. "Ebony is a spotted hyena." Nobody left.

April decided to speak up. She always had this gravelly sound to her voice like she had been smoking for a long time. She had sort of a Joan Jett look with straight black hair and she was quite slim with narrow hips and small breasts but leggy and kind of tall for a woman at 5' 9". She had hawkish features that spoke to her native American blood. "My ancestors have stories about wolves in the blood. Now I know this is true. I feel like it is only right that I ask the tribe to allow me to join a hyena pack. I am not into girls or really boys for that matter. That being said, Ebony is strong, and she is packing new equipment. I have always known all of you and I would love it if we could all stick together."

I nodded in agreement saying, "I agree, April. I want us all to stay together too. If your tribe needs to talk to us too, we want good lines of communication with them. The last thing we want is werewolf problems. I can't believe that I am saying this, but it's a truth we need to accept. Please let us know if you need anything from us in this effort."

Dax resumed, "Since you are all still here, I have a little more to discuss. Incorporating AI to help me with guesswork I can tell you that being in Ebony's pack has consequences. She calls Stephanie part of her pack yet Stephanie is not a hyena. There is anecdotal evidence that somehow Stephanie will change to be more like Ebony. We don't know if that will happen or what that would entail. If you all stay then whatever that is will happen to us all. Now is the time to walk away if you want a life of freedom. Stay and you get a life of family and service."

"Thank you, Dax." Ebony cut in at just the right moment. "Loyalty, safety and comfort will be our staples. Here in Trinity you will know that you belong. Here we will come together for food, play, and exercise. Trinity will be our compound and we will be discussing it with The Archbishop tomorrow."

I continued her line of explanation seamlessly just like we were actual twins. "Ebony and I were given $20M. Dax and Suzie are putting $10M to work for us and hopefully be able to grow it. We will be putting a chunk into this place to make it the compound we want it to be."

I turned to April. "I hope that consent from your tribe goes well as we want you to be our architect and possibly your dad's crew could do the work. It would be nice to have trusted persons for all of it."

April said, "I agree he has an excellent dedicated crew as well as trusted contractors he uses and they are accustomed to doing secretive work as well. Dad's company is All Tribe Construction and he does all the casinos and tribal construction projects. I think he would be pleased to work on Trinity. I will see about tribal elder discussions while you are talking to The Church."

"Maybe we will all have good information to share tomorrow. Now, can we spend a couple hours before dark and finish picking up this church? If everything goes well tomorrow I will have a construction roll off dropped outside." I looked around at everyone and then we all jumped in to finish picking up the church area. Once night started to fall, we all parted ways with plans to meet tomorrow (Sunday) late afternoon in The church.
