Introducing Soria then segueing to Eleanor’s night of debauchery with Aidra adds intrigue — both going forward and “backward” (will there be more fun with Aidra before she departs on her economically sensible marriage?). As always, delightful metaphors like ants on the move, penguins sliding on ice, shipwreck barnacles and fun descriptors that capture the erotic moment like Eleanor’s climactic utterances: “Praise, amazement, insults, anger, tenderness - expressions of each followed the other, sometimes ludicrously mixed in the same utterance.” Enhance reading pleasure. You clearly enjoy painting these wonderfully wild scenes that reveal so much of your believably 3-dimensional characters (love the nipple play so prominent in this adventure).
