I am so conflicted right now! Good for Amelia, for having her freedom back, but I feel sorry for Gabe. At least being away from Amelia and watching her without having her is a good punishment.

It's been a long journey, threatening at times to verge into the interminable, but I'm glad I stuck it out.

Was that his plan all along? He said it was only supposed to take a few weeks, so was he always going to break her and the dump her off back at home? I can’t imagine she could seamlessly pick up her life. She’s going to have some serious trauma to deal with. I really hope she doesn’t go crawling back to him, if anyone does any groveling, it better be Gabe.

How is this going to end? there's only one more chapter. Is gabe going to get his? I hate that hes getting away with this.

I was hoping Gabe would be an utterly remorseless monster until the end and that Amelia would best him after finally gaining his trust. In my ideal scenario, all of this would have been an act by Gabe to see if Amelia has really fallen for him, while Amelia never forgives nor accepts him. And I say this, because weakening the transgressor weakens the power of the victims' defiance, and if the victim switches from nonconsenting to consenting, then that undermines all the nonconsent in the story so far.

Great writing again! I guess Gabe finally understood he was only going to obtain an empty shell out of Amelia if he kept only taking from her without her consent.They were both going to loose themselves if he kept imposing everything on Amelia. Now she can choose but he needs to redeem himself somehow! What will she chose in the end? I'm sure they can find a compromise to make them work out this relationship on equal footing in terms of consent! Hope they can find happiness and mutual respect and we can see how they can manage an honest and loving life together with no schemes and games anymore! Excellent story!👍👍👍👍👍

I am clearly enthralled as I have read this far and soooo conflicted. I’ve wanted Amelia’s escape from the first chapter despite my love of non-con because I just don’t love Gabe. He is so convinced she is meant to be a submissive but she clearly doesn’t want it and expresses it so many times and he ignores it and comes down harder. I so don’t want her to go back to him, but also she obviously is going to have a lot of trauma to deal with. I’m clearly invested and need to know what happens. I’m trusting you author to give us a great ending. And yes, I know you can’t please us all! Maybe Gabe is redeemable? I’m honestly not sure because I really don’t like him. He’d have to do a lot…

Another great chapter. The last two pages portrayed the thoughts and emotions Amelia had so realistically. My head actually hurt with her jumbled thoughts. Gabe remained evil and proved to be even more sadistic. His desire was to show Amelia she was a submissive and yet he had no idea how to be a good master. Excellent!

Now to figure what you do next. Is this the final chapter? Like some movies that abruptly end leaving viewers saying WTF and having to determine what happened or did she dream it?

My wish? Amelia is a scrappy gal. She had the strength to make a life for herself by herself. So I would like another chapter that let's us know it wasn't a dream. Gabe drops her back into her world and thinks he will get away with it. But Amelia did not survive a year of hell only to let it go. She has his last name and the brand to prove her story. He may even have left a note saying he is sorry and has left a large some of money for her. Now she will search and find him. She can either dole out revenge, play mind games, let the authorities handle him or maybe he will be a coward and kill himself. Then Amelia will find he left his fortune all to her. She could then set up two non-profits. One to assist foster teens who age out of the system. The second for kidnapped and sexually abused victims. The story concludes with Amelia's strength inspiring victims. She will also have fallen in love with a good looking, sexy guy who will marry her and treat her they way a true Master would.

Is it bad that I want Amelia and gabe to end up together? Gabe loves Amelia and the way the author writes, it sounds like she loves him but doesn't want to admit it because he took her. Its noncon. She should be with him.

She doesn't dislike being submissive in and of itself. She can enjoy it, but it has to be on her terms. But with Gabe's approach, she's been forced to do something she finds pleasure it. That's the key internal conflict at play in this story.

Personally, I think an unhappy ending would be the best conclusion for this story from a narrative perspective.

omg, what does this mean? Surely not the end, but a new beginning? If not the end, then it feels like the end is near. Awesome tale.

Typically I would respond to each commenter individually, but given that this is the penultimate chapter, and I just submitted chapter ten, I'd most likely end up giving away the ending in my responses. I will say a few general things.

As a commenter stated, I'm not going to be able to please all of you with the ending. There have been so many interesting comments about how the work should be resolved. Some of you expressed that you wanted Gabe and Amelia back together in a happily ever after. Others never wanted them together. Others wanted them back together after Gabe was redeemed and had repented. Others expressed the desire for some revenge.

When I first roughed the story out, I had a few possible scenarios that I could have ended with. As I started writing through each chapter, one ending in particular resonated with me the most. I attempted to drop clues throughout the chapters. I hope that even if the ending isn't to your desire, the final chapter will provide some resolution.

As for elements of the next chapter, some of you did correctly guess aspects of things that will appear.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this writing exercise. It's been quite fun to try to flex my fingers at erotica writing. Thank you all again for reading and commenting.

Psychological stories that stay consistent through every chapter are difficult for some writers but you never gone off the track. Even if I might be disappointed by the ending (compared to my idea of an ending) I know it will be 5 stars plus more. You have put a lot of thought into this and I feel your passion for Amelia and Gabe. Knowing the next chapter will be the last, please be working on another story. I will be watching daily!
