i wanted to like it and i guess for a few min i did but just too many cracks. the biggest is a lawyer telling the client to talk to reporters lol i mean come on only way a lawyer is going to tell u that is if it a disappearance or kidnapping. talk to reporters about her marriage lol

Poor daughter hated her name so much she changed it from Kenna to Jenna. All jokes aside, I liked this story. The only thing i disliked was having the wife just randomly go evil. I definitely would have liked to know if she always was or just had some smoke put into her head by friends

All that's missing is the "Now lighten the fuck up" joke at the end. Some may call this way over-the-top since she technically hadn't cheated yet, but I say what she DID do is far more evil. Threatened to take his kids and ruin his life without an ounce of remorse, and even went out of her way to tell him that he wouldn't be getting much of her time anymore if he accepted the arrangement. Bitch deserved everything she got.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: When you set out to cheat, you accept ANY and ALL possible consequences for those actions. Up to and including public humiliation, psychological torture and/or violent death.

With dreamy look in the eye I think ‘If only it were so’.

Normally, I cringe when the writer prefaces a story with don't penalize me if fiction doesn't follow real life. But even now and then, the author makes it clear the story is over the top and makes it a fun ride. I laughed my ass off when I read the ending - well done! 5*

"Gary:" - Since in the second paragraph the narrator introduces himself, you don't need the label, you shouldn't do it anyway.

"Financial suicide?" - She owns her own business, that's going to skew things in his favor. Also, hers is a much more hands-on business, it might help him to make a case for him to be the custodial parent.

I know her friends filled her head with crazy ideas, but why would she receptive to them, assuming they have a happy marriage.

I don't see how she can get anymore than a TRO without more evidence that HE is threatening her. Maybe his father did it, maybe some friend who heard about his situation.

Could have done with a little more detail but something not seen every day and beautifully toasted bitch.

One of the marks of a good story idea, is the volume of nit picking comments focused on how it could have been better. Such is the case here with another good effort by M&M.

Critique #1: story started in 1st person of hubby, but didn’t return to his perspective until the end. That robbed the reader of what Gary’s thinking about it all progressed. But OK…it’s a flash story.

#2: how could the keystone cops NOT have found one or more of the people Gary paid to harass Taylor? Especially after the “Jackie the Ripper” incident? And not trace the $10K? That bet on the Celtics of that much was either with a legal traceable bookie, or illegal.

#4: why didn’t Gary inform HER parents of her ultimatum? Proof? She had already gotten a lawyer and signed the papers. What reason did she give her parents?

Originality and brevity are both hard to do. More and more I find QuickMagazine in awe of moreandmore, Skippy47 and Vandemonium1, all of whom specialize in this rare combo. Another 5, and only 1 page at that! That introductory disclaimer actually made the sequence of events seem more realistic! Bravo, bravo, bravo!

Humorous take on a cheater, therefore it's supposed to be short. I get it- actually, I don't. A few more paragraphs wouldn't have hurt.

A loving wife turn into a bitch. What does Gary do. Scares the shit out of her. But sets her up for a big fall. Over the top. Instead of trying to get her back to her old self. She screwed with his head and he overdid his revenge. Undercover cop set up was over the top. What a screwed up situation.

Great Story 5 stars, the only thing that I wanted was as to the whey. What made here go from a loving wife to a complete bitch. Seems like if it was a friend or someone else, there should have been more revenge needed.

Was when she demanded he allow her to take lovers. I have investigated over 600 cases as a Private Investigator who specializes in cheating spouses and I have never come across that scenario. I have had spouses try to negotiate that After they were caught by my clients but never before. I have had clients threatened to be killed, several of them in fact. I have also had clients who were scared by others for their life after we caught their spouses cheating. I even had a few clients not listen to me and try to take matters in their own hands and hiring individuals to do harm to their cheating spouse and then end up in jail themselves. Although, I guess I have never come across anyone being required to dress in bizarre clothing.

So, overall, I would say this is a pretty believable story and kind of comical as well with an ironic ending. People don't realize if you kill someone that has wronged you they don't feel the pain, humiliation, and other negative emotions they will if they are simply embarrassed or have their life, career, etc. nuked and have to live with that for months or years.

I had a client once whose wife was a Real Estate Broker and owned her own highly successful business. She loved that business and also all the prestige from prominent people and her friends that went with it. It all went bye bye when she was convicted for a large possession of Meth with the intent to sell and the attempted sale of Meth to school children. She claimed until the day she was sentenced the Meth wasn't hers even though some was found in her home, business and car. The Meth found in her home was hidden in a container in the upper shelf of her 4 year olds closet. She still has 11 years on a 20 year sentence to serve. She lost everything in her divorce and the kids call my former clients new wife, mom. Her husband sold her business, their old home, and has full physical and legal custody of the 3 kids who want nothing to do with her. She claims all of this happened because she got caught by my client cheating on him with a few of her customers and then wanted my client to look the other way because her cheating was getting her business and making money for the family. She even suggested that they do some swapping or she could set my client up with a couple of her office assistants so he would get some action too. She wanted the police to investigate a missing $50k from the safe at her business that she said only she had the combo for it but as no paper trail for the money could be found, they didn't and assumed it was proceeds from Meth sales LOL.

This would make a good movie. As an erotic story, not so much.

Here’s the thing, in order for a story to be good, it has to have some semblance of reality. The fact that you took a normal, loving wife and one day flipped a switch is like the dumbest way to take a story from one point to another. There should have been some reason and progression.

Going from in control with all the cards to scared, paranoid and frantic only to wind up in prison? This was a good solution. Once she told her husband her intent, the respect and trust factor were gone forever. There was no chance at reconciliation due to duress inflicted by both parties. Luckily he chose a different path before the bitch sank her fangs into him and sucked him dry like a black widow spider.

Wouldn't it be great if it could happen like this. But with the bias in our courts, she would probably get a reward for her actions.

I found his method of psychological warfare outstanding as she was never physically threatened but believed she was. She got manipulated into committing an actual crime of her choosing. She got played into loosing the war she started. I hope he required NO $$$ support from her for the kids - no moving trail of the kids would be established. And to hell with her parents who created and supported their monster.

Only thing I'd have tagged her with - is some type of REQUIRED gov't watch list, so he could keep an anonymous watch on her location after prison release. Maybe finding child porn on her bakery computer.
