Reluctant Runner

Collateral for a debt of her merchant father, Leena finds how nasty friends and neighbors can be to someone whose status has been reduced to property. Stripped, chained to a coffle, and marched through the desert to be presented to the Emperor as a gift, Leena gets an opportunity to escape when a person with evil designs trips over her chains.
