Kevin was in seventh heaven. His head up in the clouds. He intended to make it last forever, but then Helen told him that she loved him and had been in love with him for a very long time. She told him that he was her sun, her moon, and her stars, and he came instantly inside her.
After that, there were only warmth and soft kisses.
The world outside their window was a storm, and nastier storms were brewing on the horizon. Diana was one. Nadine and the darkness that enveloped her was another. There was a lot to be concerned about, but nothing could breach that night the happiness of two people who found each other through heartaches.
Outside their window, people were cruel to each other, people spent their whole lives in miserable relationships, people hated other people for being born different.
But inside their dome, there was only tenderness. That, and David Bowie, who kept on singing.

MadMausalmost 2 years agoI have been reading your story line over the last few days and have been giving you five stars each time. This part was so good I wish I could give you a few extra stars in addition to the five that they allow.
Sometimes while reading the story I wished that Kevin would just keep his mouth shut instead of giving people his pointed comments and observations. But then this is Kevin we are talking about and not one of those pretty Lace boys. Plus it is part of the fun of his character.
I am sure there is more I want to say about the story, but I think I will wait to do that. Plus it is nearly 4am as I am writing this and should get some sleep.

Anonymousover 2 years agoI first clicked on this story because it had the rare male on futa tag. I was a little frustrated by chapter after chapter of it not happening, but in the end, was. It. Worth. It! It's such poetic justice that Helen could be his first that way. I'm so glad the wine was left to mature like that.
I used to think Kevin seemed a little too perfect and goody-two-shoes. This chapter really flipped that on its head, and goes to show that deep down everyone truly IS broken, and everyone truly IS a hypocrite, and it works so well. I only have two gripes, and one is more of a personal thing. The first is that Helen really should be feeling a lot shittier about putting him in this situation in the first place. Their relationship is beautiful, but I still feel she hasn't quite made up for being the catalyst to this entire shitstorm because she judged him before getting to know him. But maybe that's still to come. The second, more personal thing is the heavy involvement of religious stuff. It isn't a true criticism though, because it doesn't detract from the story at all. It fits the themes, and really does nothing but enhance the narrative. I just wish it all weren't so... accurate. As a person of faith, myself, (I mentioned everyone's a hypocrite, right?) it dulls my enjoyment precisely because it highlights the part that I hate of a thing that I love. I wish the story could exist complete without me feeling attacked in some way, but I wouldn't ask for it to change either.
And honestly, who am I to criticize? This story is seriously a masterwork. Words can't do it justice. I thought I wrote well, but I don't hold a candle to this. A real literary masterpiece. I think the other comments sum it up pretty well. I can't put this story down. Unfortunately I have to, as I have class tomorrow. But you can bet I'm going to be reading it IN class.
