Glad to know there will be a part 2 (and maybe more?). So poignant; I could almost touch the sadness. And the erotic moments you created reinforced the poignancy — so well scripted. Curious and probably irrelevant, but I wonder about the closing line and the title of this story: Is moving on the same as finding your place? I don’t think so; maybe for Kit one is an essential element of the other. Pardon my wandering; could not help myself — I really enjoyed reading/thinking about and feeling this short piece. 5 stars easily.
