Zoe looked away. "That's none of your business."
Silence. After several seconds, Senguine sighed. "No, I suppose not."
She walked away, leaving Zoe to her thoughts.

[note 1] For anyone confused, no, she isn't very concerned about her smell. She noticed during their little pool party that her legs (and her lady bits) were hairier than she'd like. But, of course, she's not telling HIM that, because then he might notice. If that doesn't sound like it makes sense... Well, the ladies get it.
[note 2] Ahem... no it doesn't. Jared just THINKS that's why, but Quinn hasn't been there NEARLY long enough to leave her scent there. It's actually the scent of Engora's, and since Ria and Jessica had pretty much perma-occupied the space, that's why it smells like that. Honestly, Jared can be SUCH an idiot.

Anonymous2 months agoThis has been really great. I'm glad you picked this story back up. It'll be interesting to see when/ if Zoe ever reveals to anyone other than Kiara the reason for her jealousy. Looking forward to Annika next, but I hope you keep to the good balance you have of Relationship Development (not necessarily with new characters) and Plot Development.

With Jared’s activities feeding the girls in the bedroom, perhaps the smell and energy will reawaken and wet Sanguine ‘s appetite.
Some bonding between the girls would be nice also.
Anonymous5 months agoI am really enjoying your work!! I honestly don't want to give you ideas where to go because I am enjoying what you're imagining more than if I gave you ideas. Please continue the story! This story has lots of promise to become a very drawn out long term effort as you're still in the initial stages of the complete tale should you chose to continue past the apocalypse and into the shaping of the new world order which I would greatly enjoy. Thanks for the enjoyment your story has given me and I look forward to future chapters.😇
