Great addition

It’s a very hot steamy sexy story but one thing is bugging me. I’ve never understood the face slapping thing. It just seems counterintuitive to me, it generates the wrong kind of pain, the non erotic kind. Completely different to the effects of say an OTK spanking by hand, nothing to do with level of force used. Can anyone help? As in explain how it’s meant to be a sexy action and reaction?
