The professor who abstained from the vote, was the one who stood in an art store aisle sniffing boxes, was passionate about sharing his knowledge, the one who moments ago coached me through this speech."
"Miracles are out there. You never know when or where they are going to occur, it may be a sniff in the aisle of a store, but when you find friends and teachers like the ones here, miracles are going to happen! Thank you all for being such an important part of my learning and my growth! Today I graduate and head out on new opportunities, a new job awaits me. And to answer the biggest question in your minds, I think the school project was pretty successful. The professor said that he wanted to marry this Goth Girl earlier this morning, and I said yes."
The crowd pretty much went wild. Standing ovation. Gary stepped over and helped her off the step. As he did so, one word was picked up by the microphone. "Wow!"
Very offbeat and original, a touch overly sweet in places, but as it’s a romance I guess it’s par for the course. Definitely a 5⭐️ from me!
Wonderful story line. Detailed, yet the end was there before I knew it! Thank you.
This is a fantastic story, really liked the development of the "goth girl"
I could quibble about the faculty appointment, but someone has already addressed that. Also technically there could still be an issue with "harrassment". But in reality... who cares the story of their journey, and the school community's journey Far outweigh them. I look forward to reading more of your work,
Great Jib and Thanks
Stories don't come much better than this. Totally absorbing and beautifully written. You have a new fan here and I'm looking forward to reading your other stories. 5*
Awesome and amazing 5⭐️story, well done. The only thing missing is an epilogue for the wedding and living together and how many kids are involved 😉
Very Good. 5-stars, of course.
One minor niggle - Assistant Professors are lower rank than Associate Professors.
