All Comments on 'Gotta Pay the Piper Ch. 26'

Per usual, I loved it a lot - five stars. But I have a question. The system of slavery seems well thought through. At the age of 65 all slavery stops, converted into full manumission or a halfway house. But how in this system are crimes of people near to or beyond this age treated?

One of your best chapters. Such great details and storytelling and character developed and how they each evolve. Love you add all the facts in about how and why slaves are made to things. One of my favorite authors in this slavery arena. Top shelf fun and the young lady got what she bought on herself. Thanks for how much effort you put in your story to bring out each ladies personally. You feel like you are watching an internet streaming series it is that darn great. Cheers

@Cindy - Gamb has been dodging that question since like, 40 chapters ago, lol. More than one of us have tried to get him to change the system so that crimes committed after the age of, say, 60, carry a new set of penalties.

Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Minty Fresh" and having Lenore utter it was perfect.

I see a disturbing pattern of slowly escalating abuse. It would be nice to see that addressed.

Obviously, Marianne reaped back part of what she deserved!

With Beth gone, maybe she will accept her new reality or maybe not.

Depending on Joanne, the Bitch Squad might still be going on strong. Is she truly sorry and will she work hard and do her best from now on or will she remain a vindictive bitch together with Robin and Marianne?
