i thought the story was well written, but it seems that your knowledge of the lifestyle is lacking a little, first of all, Master and sub don't go together, Masters have slaves, subs have Doms, second, any good Master/Dom would never use a punishment like this to the extent it was used in this story, what you described in this story was emotional abuse, and could be very scarring, especially for someone as vulnerable as a sub is to their Dom

I love how you explored the deeper aspects of the D/s relationship. Although the basis is always sexual (of course), you were able to show the inner workings and emotions of the alternative 24/7 lifestyle. Very well done.

His treatment of her was intolerable,seeing that she loved him so much, she could have interpreted his 'abuse' of her as hatred, in that case I was surprised that when he came home he did not find she had hung herself in the garage or something equally devastating.

This story has some elements that are disturbing. If what the slave or pet and I'm not sure they are the same thing was not damaging the disclosure was a betrayal but not to the extent that the pet endured her punishment. First of all the paint stick in the garage was almost brutal for someone who was in a relationship where punishment was not needed in the past. Telling her if she could not endure the three days of punishment she would not be his. This is extreme emotional abuse which could have drove the pet to end her own life since she was so devoted to her Master. That's just say I think that this story is filled with cruel physical and emotional abuse although pretty well written if that is what you think the lifestyle is all about.
