I was a little disappointed but I expect more exciting things will happen in the next chapter(s)

Veronica... Yeah, she didn't place - I think that may have gotten to her. It would have been nearly impossible to beat Wyatt. Beating Dana was her goal and we might learn some more about that eventually. The chapter ended with some hope though. Sorry that you felt some disappointment - there may still be hope. Only a couple chapters remain.
