The mind is weird because you can be thinking the words but skip writing them down. You have to wait a few days to be able to catch some of that. Keep working your story, have someone else read it because they can catch skipped words as well. Work your story as much as you can to catch all your errors is spelling and punctuation because once you submit there is NO changing anything. I can easily put 40 hours into a story.
