I'm still enjoying this rather odd little tale. As a man, I quite liked the comment about most men being a waste of space who think that everything they say is of the most vital importance. You could be speaking of just about any politician in the land, from parish councillors to the upper ranks of Parliament. I also enjoyed the Corinne-isms: they made me think of James Joyce (or Stanley Unwin). Keep up the excellent work, Norma Jane.
