There are a bunch of great stories in this series

Please keep sharing them with us.

Bonnie’s words remind me of John Prine’s “I Wish You All the Best”:

I wish you love - and happiness

I guess I wish - you all the best

I wish you don't - do like I do

And never fall in love with someone like you.

Interesting format the series of vignettes. Entertaining and enjoyable, if a bit melancholy. As always, thanks for sharing.

WORDS

In the words of Simon from AGT, "This is what I've been waiting for." A LW story about honest emotions from two believable human women. One who accepts responsibility, and the consequences for her own actions. The other, a woman to whom the words honor, justice, ethics, and morality means something. Not only mean something, but are applied to her life. Five stars

Great series. These stories as well as another story about a church minister talking to people about helping each other (don't remember the author) should be read by people considering cheating on a relationship instead of exiting from it.

I like these stories

I have enjoyed the stories you have posted about the support group. It gives everyone a perspective of what infidelity does to everyone, from all sides of the story. Thanks for all of your postings.

I really liked this story. I was particularly touched by Barb's confession that she came to understand she had taken everything away from her husband by cheating. She said, "His identity, his whole worth, was so tied up in our marriage and my love for him that when I cheated, I took it all away. I did that to him." I know a lot of men who have given all of themselves to their marriage and I'm certain they would be likewise damaged.

I was one of those men in my first marriage, so I can tell you the effects are lasting. Even though I love my (second and final) wife, I will not give myself that much to any woman, ever again. Sad.

I think people, men and women, need to remember that they are married to a fallible human being who CAN be tempted to do hurtful things. How hurtful those things are depends almost entirely on how realistically you see your partner and your marriage. If you come to assume everything is hunky-dory and just commence to glide along, you can also expect that hurtful things, if they occur, will damage you. Maybe even destroy you.

Excellent

This group of 5 one page stories cut to the chase with the feelings of cheaters and cheated alike. I think that this group of stories should be handed out to every couple that are planning marriage and should be read on every anniversary thereafter. It would probably drop the divorce rate significantly. Well written! 5 stars for all pages. CC

These stories really illustrate the impact of infidelity. All of them that I've read are very well crafted and written with sensitivity. Every one is 5 stars in my opinion. I can't think of anything better to say than these should be advertised as required reading if you want to understand about cheating and its consequences. BardnotBard

I suppose I write for many of the same reasons that others do. First, I am exorcising my demons. I use writing to explore my thoughts and emotions, sometimes embracing, and perhaps ridding myself of, my darker thoughts and sometimes finding happier themes to celebrate. It s...
