Was so happy to see a new chapter. Having read your update I am sad this is over for now. Hands down one of the best if not the best stories ever. Your writing is absolutely outstanding. If your skills as a doctor are as good as your writing skills then your patients are extremely lucky. I do hope that someday as the kids get older and life provides a few minutes of free time you will again thrill your readers with new stories and updates to old. Avery is such a captivating character and I will continue hold deep in my mind the hope that in the end she survives. But in the meantime it has been one hellva ride. Take care and stay healthy. Welcome back! I loved the story, as dark as it was. You really show the helplessness of the situation for Avery, but her resolve to not give in shine through. Harrison is also made thoroughly repulsive and I will be glad when he finally gets his eventual come-uppance. 5 star effort
