Is "Dumb Ass" too harsh? I don't think so. This was just poorly thought out and badly written. Is anyone really THAT stupid?

The writing is a bit dry, almost like a documentary. Maybe instead of telling us about their conversations, try quoting them instead. Make it a bit more personal. And to be honest, so far this story is just like a dozen others on here. Try to find something unique for the plot.
