Side by side, we collapsed on the deck as the Tadpole finally entered calm waters. We drifted aimlessly across the ocean at the mercy of wind and tide.
Neither of us noticed as one final wave picked up the Tadpole and carried it across a coral reef, before dumping it onto a white sandy beach. We were stranded, but alive.
