Katja Pt. 16

Nemo's eyes lit up, "Oh, that would be great. Thank you Tony."

Tony grinned, "No problem. Once we get moved out to New Lyonn, I'll teach you how to ride. You need to be seventeen to get a license here."

Ariel grinned as Nemo smiled again, hero worship written all over her brother's face.

The rest of the week went well. The ship shuttle made a round trip a day to bring others back that had family already here and had decided to settle in New Lyonn, along with some from the original site that decided to join friends and family at the new landing site. This would continue until the following week and then Erik would start classes for the newcomers and make a few trips out to the new site to set things up there.

Saturday morning, uncle Geoff had Helen arrange a van to bring the others from the ship to Erik and Katja's, then He and Victoria followed in her car. Victoria was giving Geoff driving lessons, as was Helen with Azlan. Erik had arranged a company to come in for the others on the ship who wanted to learn, but none had gotten their license yet. On the company's advice, they were waiting until they moved to New Lyonn so they had a permanent address to make it easier.

Once they parked at Erik's and Katja's, Victoria smiled when she saw Helen's and Jack's vehicles already there. They got out, and they waited till the others got out of the van. They joined Victoria and Geoff, then they led them around to the back of the house.

Erik, Tony and Jack were talking, while Katja, the children, Ariel, Maria and of course Lucy, were sitting on the patio talking.

Lucy smiled as she saw Victoria, "Katja, I think their all here."

Katja smiled as she watched Lucy crane her head looking for Jonny. Lucy smiled as he came around the corner and laughed as she jumped up yelling his name.

Jonny was talking with Nemo, but he was also looking to see were Lucy was. He smiled as he heard her and ran to where she was standing, yelling her name himself. They ran into each other's arms and hugged each other tightly, then Lucy smiled as she kissed him, which surprised both of them as this time, she had kissed him on the lips instead of the cheek like all the other times. They both blushed as they broke apart, but they were still smiling. Lucy took his hand like normal and said, "I missed you so much."

Jonny nodded in agreement, the kiss she gave him made him feel a little funny, but it was very nice. "I missed you to."

Maria was a little stunned as she watched her daughter kiss Jonny. She had been stunning her quite a bit lately when they talked, Lucy had seemed to getting older beyond her real years. Katja watched her sensing what she was feeling, then said, "I wouldn't worry about it Maria. It was just a kiss, they were both just excited to see one another."

Maria looked at her, "I know, it's just that she seems more grown up every time I talk to her."

Ariel smiled, "Well, I'd guess it was because of the training and who's doing it." She giggled, "Besides, I kissed my first male when I was nine. I saw other people doing it and it looked like fun." She grinned, "It was."

Maria and Katja both laughed, then Katja said, "From you, I believe it. I waited until I was twelve."

Maria grinned nodding, "I was thirteen."

Ariel laughed, "I wouldn't worry about it Maria, I think she just has a "old soul."

She had no sooner said it, then the three of them felt the warmth of the Goddesses touch. Then they heard, "Ariel is right mother of our daughter, my priestess was chosen for many things. An old soul, as Ariel said, was one of them. However, she will always seem a little older because of how I am training her. We combine when I do, that makes her age a little faster as we share of each other as we both learn." There was a short pause, then She continued, "The kiss was more my idea than hers. I've never done it and I wanted to see what it was like."

The three giggled as Briast said this. Then Ariel asked, "Did you enjoy it?"

With a bit of surprise in her voice, Briast said, "Yes, it was very nice."

Ariel grinned, "I've always enjoyed it myself."

Katja laughed, "Ariel, try not to corrupt the Goddess please."

Ariel turned red and Maria and Katja laughed as the warmth left them.

Ariel and Katja greeted and exchanged hugs and kisses with their families, then introduced them to Maria and Lucy, who still had a hold of Jonny's hand.

Erik greeted the others, as did Tony. He introduced them to Jack, then they all moved over to the patio. Soon, everyone was talking as they all got together. Brigette made her rounds to everyone and then looked around to pick a receptive lap to climb into. She settled on Azlan's for now and he grinned as his niece cuddled up in his lap and he hugged her. He looked at his mate, and Helen smiled back asking, "Practicing?"

He smiled and nodded.

Then Little Geoff, still holding Gesa's hand brought her over to meet his grandmother. Cassie looked down smiling, and asked, "Hello Geoff, and who is this?"

Geoff smiled, "This is Gesa grandmother. She's my friend."

Cassie smiled, "Well hello Gesa. My but your very pretty.

Gesa stared up at Cassie, her mouth open. "So are you, your more pretty than I am."

Cassie smiled as Geoff squeezed Gesa's hand saying, "Your just as pretty Gesa, and you smell nice."

Gesa grinned at him and squeezed his hand back happily that he said this. She pulled him over and they sat down together talking and giggling.

Allie, Katja, and Cassie looked at one another and grinned as they watched the two of sit together on the lawn. Geoff said something to Gesa and she giggled and held his arm to her possessively. Katja watched as the two seemed much older than they were.

Maria saw the look on Katja's face and giggled. "Maybe Geoff has an old soul too. At least he knows on how to make a girl happy."

Katja blushed, then giggled shaking her head. "No, I think he's just his father's son."

As it was early yet, Tony grabbed Nemo and said, "Come on, I'll take you for a quick ride before I have to start the grill."

Nemo grinned from ear to ear as Tony said to the others, "We'll be back soon."

Nemo followed him around front and watched as Tony opened up a wide door in front of the house and led him in. Nemo was mesmerized by the motorcycle as Tony explained it to him and what he would have to do when they were riding. Nemo listen and nodded, then Tony handed him Ariel's helmet and he pushed the bike out onto the driveway. He got on and stood the bike up, then told Nemo to climb on back and put his feet on the passenger pegs.

Once Nemo was on, Tony put his helmet on, turned around and asked, "You ready brother?"

Nemo nodded a little nervous and extremely excited. Tony grinned, "Okay, once we get going, relax and hold onto my belt with both hands at first until you get used to it. And just sit still, even if we stop, otherwise you'll throw me off balance. Okay?"

Nemo nodded his understanding and Tony grinned as he turned the bike on and hit the starter button.

Nemo jumped a little as the bike started and sat there rumbling loudly. He smiled as Tony twisted a handle he was holding and the roar of the motorcycle, cycled up and down a little as he pulled in a lever with his other hand and moved something with his foot.

Tony looked back and grinned, "Here we go, hold on." He gave it a little more throttle and released the clutch.

Nemo smiled as they started to move slowly and pulled out onto the street. He grinned even wider as Tony twisted the handle and the bike started to move faster. He watched as Tony would pull in the lever and move his foot as he shifted gears.

Nemo was grinning ear to ear as the wind blew past them and he could feel the vibration and hear the roar of the motor. Tony looked back checking on him and saw his grin. "Hold on."

Tony twisted the throttled and the bike roared as he shifted it into a higher gear. They were doing about fifty as they came to a curve and Tony leaned the bike into it tilting it as the bike soared around the curve. As they came out of it, he twisted the throttle again making the engine roar even more as he speeded it up. He was startled when he heard a loud roar. He turned and smiled as he saw the look on Nemo's face. He was having the time of his young life.

They rode around for a little and Nemo grinned as the came up on another human on a similar motorcycle on the other side of the road. Tony and the other waved to each other and they headed their separate ways.

They rode for a little longer, but it was over all to soon as they pulled into the driveway and into the garage. Tony let the bike idle a bit, then shut it off. It was soon quiet as Tony motioned for Nemo to get off and then leaned the bike on its side stand. He took his helmet off and hung it on the mirror and got off himself.

He watched as Nemo took his off and imitated Tony hanging on the other mirror. Then with a huge grin Nemo hugged him thanking him over and over.

Tony laughed as he hugged his brother back. "Well, I guess you enjoyed your first ride."

Nemo laughed, "Oh yes, it was so exciting. I can't wait until you can teach me."

Tony grinned and put his arm around his shoulders. "It will be my pleasure brother. C'mon, give me a hand and I'll teach you how to make my famous chicken."

They walked to the back of the house, and Ariel saw them both laughing as they walked up. She smiled and hugged her brother. "Well, how did you enjoy first ride?"

Nemo grinned ear to ear, "It was so exciting, between the speed and the wind, I don't know what I liked best."

She smiled, "I'm glad you liked it, it sounds like you had fun."

Tony grinned, "Oh, he did. He'll like it better when I teach him to ride by himself." Then he smiled, "You know kitten, you'd probably like it better to. Maybe I should teach you and get you your own bike. Then we could ride together."

Ariel nodded smiling, "I think I'd like that."

Tony nodded, then said to Nemo, "C'mon, I'll teach you how to do the chicken."

Erik laugh as he came up putting an arm around Nemo. "You must really rate Nemo, he won't even teach me or anyone else for that matter."

Nemo grinned again, in his entire life he'd never been as happy as he was right now. Both Erik and Tony treated him like equals and an adult. Being the youngest in the family did have its drawbacks.

Tony grinned and took Nemo into the kitchen, while Erik joined the rest on the patio. He kissed Katja, then said, "I just talked to Celia, she should be here in about a half hour. She also said she was bringing a friend with her."

Katja smiled as she kissed her mate back. "Good, we've been so busy lately we haven't seen her in a while. Did she say who it was?"

Erik shook his head no, "I guess we'll find out soon."

They all talked some more enjoying this "family" gathering. Neko, Seamus, and Julius were talking and laughing exchanging stories, they hadn't seen each other in a while. Erik, Azlan, Jack, Axel were doing the same as they talked of what was to come soon. They would all be moving to New Lyonn very soon. Jack had said he was in touch with the realtor that Erik and Tony used to see about a house. He had originally thought to see about getting an office, but the realtor had said there wasn't a reason to, she had a few houses with one attached. He smiled, "So, we decided that would be the best choice.

Erik nodded, "That makes sense, why have two places when one will do. Plus, you can trust her Jack, she's much more concerned that you get what you need than just trying to sell a place."

Uncle Geoff had been talking to both groups and he nodded his agreement, "That really does makes sense Jack, most of your work will be with us anyhow. But I'm sure you'll get more with the surrounding towns as things reopen and such."

Jack nodded, "We thought the same ourselves. So, we'll be making a trip out there in the next few weeks after I finish up some things here." He smiled, "I'll be keeping some of my regular clients, I don't have to be close to take care of them. The rest, I've shared with some other lawyer friends of mine."

The girls were all talking the same way as their mates were. Allie asked Helen, how her pregnancy was progressing.

Helen grinned, "Not bad really, I've seen the same doctor Katja did." She laughed, "She's the closest we have to an expert right now."

Katja laughed, "Did she say how long it would be?"

Helen grinned, "She can't give me a solid date yet, somewhere between six and nine months is the best she could come up for now. I have to go see her at the end of the month and she said hopefully, we could get a better time frame."

Katja nodded her agreement, "It was the same with me Helen, she said she could judge it better when she could compare the growth with the tests."

The rest nodded their understanding, then Maria asked, "Is Celia coming Kat?"

Katja nodded smiling, "Yes she is. Erik talked to her and she should be here in about twenty minutes or so. She's also bringing a friend, who it is, we don't know."

Cassie looked at her daughter, "This is the high priestess you were talking about dear?"

Katja nodded, "Yes mother. Celia is a high priestess to the human Goddess Brigit."

Lexi asked, "Are there a lot of humans that believe in a Goddess? From what I've read, I thought they had gotten away from that."

Katja nodded, "I don't know how many, but it seems to be quite a lot, from what I've heard from Celia and Erik. They're called Pagans here for the most part from what Erik told me originally."

She smiled, "I was surprised myself when I found this out. Erik and I were doing the final mating ritual, when he saw me asking the Goddess to bless us. He asked me if the statue was the Goddess Bast."

She grinned, "I was a bit startle, because I thought the same as you did. But he explained it all to me."

Ariel nodded adding, "And along with the pagans like Erik and Celia. They also have a group called Heathens, they mainly look to the old... Norse gods I believe the culture was, Tony calls it "Asatru."

Katja nodded, "If you really interested, I'm sure Celia can explain it better when she gets here."

Lexi and Cassie both nodded their agreement, interested in finding out more about it.

Lucy and Jonny were sitting together away from the crowd of family and they were talking quietly to one another.

Lucy smiled and squeezed his hand, "I've missed you a lot Jon."

Jonny squeezed back smiling, "I've missed you too. Talking on the computer is nice, but I like this better."

Lucy leaned against him grinning, "I know what you mean. I can't wait till we can see each other all the time. It won't be long now."

Jonny sighed, "I know. Ah can I ask you something?"

Lucy smiled, "Of course you can."

Jonny blushed a bit, "Why did you kiss me like that before?"

Lucy giggled, "Didn't you like it?"

He blushed deeper this time, "I liked it very much. But that's not the way you normally do it."

Now it was Lucy's turn to blush, "Briast saw they others do it like that and wondered what it felt like. She decided she liked it." Then she blushed deeper and hugged his arm, "So did I, very, very much."

Jonny looked at her a little confused, "How did she know?"

Lucy thought for a moment, "When She's training me, She sort of joins with me and we get mushed together. Then we can both feel the same things."

Jonny looked at her again eyes wide, "You mean the Goddess kissed me??"

Lucy grinned and shook her head no. "No. But she could sense it. Or at least that's how She explained it to me. I was the one kissing you."

Jonny nodded, then said blushing, "I really like it. It felt very nice and you smelled very nice when you did it."

Lucy smiled, "I like it very much too. And you smelled nice also."

Jonny looked at her, then asked, "What do you think that means?"

Lucy shrugged, then said grinning, "I guess it's because we're going to be mates when we get older."

Jonny nodded, "That makes sense I guess." He shyly slipped his arm around her and hugged her to him.

Lucy felt very good when he hugged her. Then a thought came to her, "Jonny?"

He looked at her, "What?"

She blushed and said shyly and quietly. "Uh, I love you."

Jonny's heart beat fast and his mind soared, then he said the only thing he could think of. "I love you too Lucy. I think I have from the start."

They looked at each other and smiled as they felt the Goddess caress then both.

About ten minutes later, they heard a voice say, "So this is were the family gathering is."

Erik smiled as he heard his teachers voice. Then he and Katja came over to her and greeted her.

Then Erik saw the young girl with her. She was in her late teens he thought, maybe eighteen or nineteen. She was a cute looking girl about five-seven, with short dark red hair. He thought she looked a little nervous. He asked smiling, "Well, are you going to introduce your friend?"

Celia grinned, "I would if you gave me a chance."

Erik blushed as Katja laughed. Then Celia said, "Erik, Katja, this is Erin. Erin this is my over-curious student Erik, and his Mate, Katja."

Erin smiled shyly. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Celia has told me all about you."

Erik and Katja grinned, then Erik took her hand and said, "It's nice to meet you also Erin."

Then Katja grinned as she said, "It's nice to meet you too Erin. Welcome." Katja gave her a quick hug.

This surprised Erin, but Katja was so soft and warm. It felt nice.

Then Erik said, "Come and join the gathering. You need to meet the new members."

Then they heard, "Miss Celia!" They turned and grinned as Lucy came up quickly dragging Jonny with her. She hugged Celia who laughed loudly and hugged her back. Then Lucy said, "It's so good to see you, I've missed you."

Celia grinned as she said, "It's good to see you also dear one, I've missed you also." The she grinned, "I see you've been keeping up with your training."

Lucy smiled and nodded.

Celia grinned again and hugged her. Then look up saying, "Hello Jonny, how are you dear."

Jonny smiled and hugged her. "Hi Miss Celia, I'm good now." He looked at Lucy grinning, who grinned back.

Celia laughed, "Yes, I imagine you would be."

Then Erik said, "Come and meet the others."

He brought them over and the others greeted her warmly. Then Katja and Ariel introduced her to their parents.

Erin was following Celia and looking at all the different people gathered. From the older Lyonness to younger ones and the same with the humans. She was a little surprised on how they treated her, they didn't know her, but treated her the same as Celia. She saw that there were a few mixed species couples, along with children. Celia had told her about Erik, Katja and their children. But it was one thing to talk about it and another seeing it. Though expecting it, she was startled to see the little boy with a tail and slightly pointed ears. He was holding hands with a very young Lyonness female. She smiled to herself slightly, he did look cute with a tail. Then she was startled when she heard, "Thank you, I like my tail also." Then she heard a giggle, then he said, "Gesa likes it to."

She looked around and her eyes were drawn to the little human boy. He smiled at her along with the little female Lyonness. She was stunned to say the least, and came closer to Celia.

Celia looked at her seeing the look on her face and cocked her head "What's the matter dear?"

Erin looked at her a bit nervous, "Nothing Celia."

Celia was holding a smiling Brigette. Then Brigette said to her. "Geoff spoke to her Grandma Celia. I think she got a little scared."

Celia looked at Brigette, "What do you mean dear? I didn't hear anything." Brigette giggled, "That's because he did like this." She told her in her mind.
