Erik grinned as he rolled out from under her and stood up, "I didn't say I didn't love it. It was an observation."

She grinned evilly, and pulled up her shirt, "In that case, why don't you observe this."

He laughed and jumped back into bed and kissed her soundly. And as he did, there was a light knock on the door. He laughed, "Told you."

He got back up grinned and pulled his sleep pants off. He blew her a kiss and she watched grinning as his cock bobbed up and down as he walked into the bathroom.

Once he closed the door, she pulled her shirt down and said, "It's open kids."

Next thing she knew, she was buried under three laughing children and three purring cats. She laughed and tickled them as they tried to do the same to her.

After Erik closed the door, he heard her say, "It's open kids." Then he heard the joyful laughter of his children as they attacked their mother. He shook his head and grinned to himself, "I love those kids so much."

He got cleaned up and dressed, then went back out. He grinned as he saw Katja buried under kids and cats. He laughed, "That looks like fun."

Katja grinned back, "Well, don't just stand there, I could use a hand."

He laughed and grabbed Geoff and kissed him, then did the same to the other two. Then they pounced on him pulling him into bed. Now it was his turn to be attacked. The kids tried to growl, but they only got so far until they started to laugh. He grabbed two of them, one in each arm, but that left the third one free. He laughed, "This used to be easier when there was only two of them." He finally gave up and laughed as they tickled him. "All right, I quit. You three win."

The kids laughed and piled on him kissing and hugging their father. Erik grinned, "Well, now that the battle's over, you need to come with me." He picked Geoff up and stood putting him over his shoulder like he did every morning.

Geoff giggled as his father carried him out to the kitchen followed by Neffi hoping to get in on some more of the fun. Erik grinned as he saw her, so he stopped and picked her up putting her on his other shoulder. She licked his cheek and purred as she rode on his shoulder.

Neffi purred to Geoff, "This is fun." Geoff grinned and agreed with her.

They got into the kitchen, and Erik put both son and cat down on the floor grinning to them. Geoff helped him make his mother's tea and Neffi jumped up on a chair to watch. While the tea was steeping, Geoff got the cat treats out and told Neffi to follow him. She did, and he gave her some treats first which pleased her to no end. He smiled and shook the box like he did every morning and grinned as he saw Marcus running down the hallway, followed by Niall as fast as his little legs would go. Once they got there Neffi purred, "I got mine first. Males get them second."

Marcus ignored her, like normal, and Niall didn't care. He knew it was just a brother and sister thing, he and his siblings used to do the same thing playing with each other. It actually made him feel good to be included in their playing. Also, he knew Aileen would sneak him some more later of whatever she was having.

Geoff grinned as he listened to them, Marcus and Neffi played like that all the time. So he went back in and was in time to finish making his mother's tea and getting his sisters and his juice.

Erik smiled as they finished, and Katja and the girls walked in. They sat down and he and Geoff got their daily smile, kiss and hug. Geoff put Brigitte's and Aileen's glasses on the table and they both grinned and told him thank you. They had breakfast, then Katja, Erik and Aileen went out to the living room afterwards, while Brigitte and Geoff went to their rooms.

Aileen sat with them on the couch and once her brother and sister where gone, she stood up and hugged and kissed her mother, then did the same to her father. She grinned at them and said, "That was from my other mommy. She asked me to give you both a hug and kiss last night."

Erik looked at her, "Last night kitten?"

Aileen nodded, "Yes daddy, she came and took me to see Aunt Bast and Aunt Briast. Then we talked about what happen yesterday."

Katja looked at her, "Aunt Bast? Aunt Briast?"

She nodded, "Bast is mommy's sister, so that makes her my aunt, doesn't it? She smiled when I called her that," She cocked her head, "I was going to call Briast sister at first, she's not really an aunt. But it just seemed right, she liked it too and smiled."

Erik grinned to himself, "Aunt Bast and Aunt Briast. Well, she is right, I guess." Then he asked her, "What did you and mommy talk about kitten?"

She leaned up against him, "Well, we talked about how I made the nice lady feel better yesterday, she was so nice and didn't feel good. Mommy explained that I need to learn more before I do things like that." She hugged her father's arm, "I thought I did something wrong, but I didn't. I just made her feel better."

Erik put his arm around her, "I think I understand kitten. But mommy was worried you could hurt yourself, if you tried to do something and couldn't." He smiled and pulled her onto his lap and hugged her. "Just because you can do something, doesn't always mean you should."

He kissed his daughter, "But, I promise, when you get old enough, I'll make sure you know everything you need to know to help sick people. Okay kitten?"

She hugged her father, "Thank you daddy, I love you."

Erik smiled, his eyes burning a bit from unshed tears. "I love you also kitten. Now, why don't you and Niall go play." Then he kissed her. She smiled and nodded, then went over and hugged her mother, then she climbed down from the couch and went to her bedroom, Niall close behind her.

Katja slide over and hugged her mate. "I love you Erik, you're always so good with the children."

He smiled and kissed her, "Well, I was one myself. I love you too kitten."

Then he smiled as he was hugged by his other mate. "I love you also my mate, Katja is right. Thank you for making our daughter feel better."

Erik smiled, "I love you also. Does her aunts feel the same way?"

Brigit laughed, "Yes, I believe so. Bast was a little surprised at first, but she liked it. And Briast loves whatever the children do." She kissed him once again, "Since this all started, we've all become a little more like your and Katja's people. This is what happens when, how did you put it one time, become more personally involved with the people."

She kissed him once more, "And of course, some of us have gotten a lot more personally involved." She shuddered remembering and held him tight, "Thanks be to the One for letting us do that."

Erik smiled as he held Katja to him with one arm and Brigit with the other. He grinned, She once again felt more solid, he couldn't see her, but he did feel her. He smiled as he kissed each of his mates, then echoed Brigit's oath, "Thanks be to the One for letting this all happen."

He was stunned when he heard, "Your welcome my son. Know that I am very pleased with you and all that you have done."

Erik shuddered as the presence faded and his whole being was tingling from the visitation. He held his mates closer as tears of joy ran down his face.

Later on that day, they all were sitting on the couch watching the Christmas dragon movie once again. Katja grinned as she watched her mate laugh at one of the scenes. She laughed to herself, "I doubt he'll ever grow up." Her mate was always a bit of an enigma, he could be so serious and calculating one minute, then sit and laugh enjoying a children's movie with his children. She'd said it before, he was the perfect mate.

After the movie was over, Erik switched it back to the TV, and smiled as he saw what was just coming on, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. He remembered watching this when he was the kids age. He had Brigitte curled up on one side of him and Aileen the same way on the other. "Aileen, I think you're going to enjoy this one. Your brother and sister have seen it before and they liked it."

Geoff grinned, "Daddy's right Aileen, it's really funny." Then Brigitte grinned adding, "It's not as good as the dragon one we just watched, but it is good."

They watched the show and Aileen did like it. She liked the little... reindeer, her daddy called it. Then she asked him, "Is the one called Santa real daddy? I've seen people like him when we've gone out."

Erik smiled, he had this same conversation with both Geoff and Brigitte. So, he explained it to her just like he had with the others and as he had also explained both Yule and Christmas to them. "Well, sort of kitten. Santa Claus, is also known as Saint Nicholas, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, or just simply Santa, it all kind of depends on where you live. As I understand it, he was originally known as Saint Nicholas and he lived a long time ago. He was someone called a Bishop and used to bring small presents to all the good children, but as the year's past, he was known as just Santa Claus. But now, he's more of a... symbol, for this time of the year and the Christmas holiday, then a real person." He smiled as he pulled her closer, "Do you understand kitten?"

Aileen nodded, though it didn't answer it all the way, what her daddy said made some sense.

Erik grinned, "Well then, how about we all have some hot chocolate and some Christmas cookies, then you can watch one more show. Then it's time for bed, and maybe Santa will come while your sleeping."

Erik and Katja sat on the couch after getting the children to bed. She stroked his arm, "Do you think Aileen understood it all love?" She grinned, "I still have a hard time understanding myself."

Erik laughed, "So do a lot of others love. That's what happens when you grow up and lose the whimsey in your life." He grinned, "Since I refuse to grow up, I still have it."

He pulled her close and took deep breath of her scent as he held her. "I think he's as real as you believe, and people do need something to believe in to help them be a better person, even if it's only at this time of year."

Katja cocked her head, "What do you mean love?"

Erik smiled, "Well, until recently, things were a bit... chaotic, for lack of a better term, here on this this world. You've heard my classes on how it was. But, despite all that, this time of year and this day, Christmas Eve, was the one night of the year when people all acted a little nicer and kinder to one another, because of the spirit of the holiday, people acted more like the people that we should be. This always seemed to happen, well mostly, every Christmas Eve."

He hugged her, "But now, people are acting better towards each other more often. I think that's wonderful, and it will only get better day by day. I know it and I can see and feel it." He smiled and kissed her, "And who knows, maybe Santa will also be real again. Stranger things have happened, you and I know that better than most people."

Katja smiled and hugged her mate. "Yes, I believe we do love."

She smiled once more, "Now, I think we should play Santa and put out the rest of the children's gifts, then you can take me to bed and show me a little of this Christmas Spirit you talk about."

He smiled and kissed her, then they got up and put out the other presents for the children. Then he took her to bed like she asked and then they celebrated.

They both got up in the morning because of a knocking on their door. Erik grinned, "Morning kitten, I think the kids have discovered that Santa paid a visit last night."

Katja laughed and kissed him, "I think your right love." Then she called out, "The door is open."

They laughed as Aileen ran into the room and jumped onto the bed. Erik grinned, as she said excitedly, "Mommy, Daddy, Santa did come last night. There's presents under the big tree."

Erik hugged his daughter, "Really? See, I told you, he visits all the good children, you just have to believe in him."

Katja smiled and hugged her, "Now why don't you stay here and mommy and daddy will get dressed. Then we'll have some breakfast, and open the presents after that."

Aileen hugged her back, "Okay mommy, but it's going to be hard to wait."

Erik grinned and kissed his daughter. Then he got out of bed and got dressed while Katja kept his excited daughter occupied.

He finished up and then walked out seeing his other two kids in bed with they're mother and sister. He laughed, "Well, I guess I should be glad I didn't want to get back in bed, it's looks kind of full."

The children laughed as Katja got out and went to dressed herself. Erik walked over and picked up Aileen. Why don't you two come with us, we'll get mommy's tea started and your juices."

Geoff climbed out of bed, and Brigitte said, "I'll wait for mommy to come out daddy."

Erik smiled and bent over slightly to kiss his daughter. "Okay kitten, if that's what you want."

He took Geoff's hand and they walked out into the kitchen. Geoff grabbed the stepstool and Erik sat Aileen down on her chair to watch. He and Geoff made Katja's tea, and like he did every morning, Geoff got the cat treats out while the tea was steeping. He walked over and asked Aileen, "Do you want to help me again sis?"

She grinned and nodded. Geoff helped her down from the chair, then they went to the living room. He smiled at her and shook the box. Aileen giggled as she heard a bunch of tiny feet and meows as the three cats ran down the hallway up to where her and Geoff were. Geoff smiled, "Hold out your hand Aileen." She did and he poured some treats into her hand and she put them by Niall's spot. He looked up and purred, "Thank you Aileen. I love these, they taste so good." She smiled and petted him, "Your welcome Niall."

She came back, then Geoff shook some more out for her. "These are for Marcus, I'll give Neffi hers."

She put them at Marcus's spot while Geoff put Neffi's down. They went back to the kitchen and it was time to fix his mother's tea. While he was doing that, Erik grinned and handed Aileen a juice glass. "Do you think you can put this on the table kitten?"

Aileen nodded smiling and holding the glass in two hands she reached up and set it on the table. Then she came back and got the next one, then the one after that. Erik picked her up and hugged her. "Very good kitten, now you go sit down, mommy and Brigitte should be here soon. Then we'll have breakfast."

Katja walked out and smiled to see her daughter curled up on the bed waiting for her. "Hi kitten, what are you still doing here? I thought you'd be out with the others."

Brigitte shook her head no, "I wanted to ask you something."

Katja sat down and stroked her daughters face, "Is there something wrong kitten?"

She shook her head no, "Is Aunt Ariel and uncle Tony coming over later?"

Katja smiled, "As a matter of fact, they are. They're going to stop on the way to Aunt Ariel's mothers house.

Brigitte smiled, "Then could get down the new dress Aunt Ariel got me, so I can wear it?

Katja picked her daughter up, and hugged her, "Certainly kitten. How about we do that after we eat and open the presents?"

Brigitte nodded smiling, then they headed to the kitchen.

They all talked while they ate, then afterwards, they went out to the living room to open the presents. The children smiled and purred as they opened the presents. Then Aileen asked, "Can we open the ones from Santa now?"

Erik looked at her, "Sure love, which one are those?"

She ran over and pulled some wrapped boxes out from behind the tree. They were hidden by the lower branches. Erik came over and gave her a hand, and his eyes went wide as he saw them, the tags on them said from Santa. He thought Katja must have done that.

There were two packages for each of them, and Aileen opened the first one and her eyes went wide, it was a reindeer like from the movie. "Look daddy, it's Rudolph."

Erik smiled, "That's very nice kitten." But to himself, he thought, where did that come from?

Then Brigitte purred as she opened hers, it was another dragon and it looked so real.

Geoff opened his and he grinned, it was another wolf, and like Brigitte's dragon, it looked real.

Then they opened the rest, and Brigitte got another new dress, Geoff got two books and Aileen got a big coloring book and a big box of crayons.

Erik was still wondering where these came from. Brigitte's dress was beautiful, and she'd look wonderful in it. Geoff's books were about mythology and different stories. Aileen's coloring book had all different animals in it and each picture had a story with it about the animal. He knew he didn't get them and he doubted it was Katja.

As the children looked at all they got, and showed each other the items, Katja sat down next to him and hugged his arm, "That was a nice thing to do love. But how did you do it?"

Erik shook his head, "Sorry kitten, but it wasn't me that played Santa."

She looked at him in surprise, then they felt a familiar warmth, and it all dropped into place. He smiled, "Merry Christmas my mate. Or should I say Santa."

They heard her lilting laugh, "I much rather you call me "My mate" love. I'm glad the children liked the small gifts; I've never done this before and it made me happy to do it."

Erik nodded, "Yes, it's a time for children. And for those that are children at heart. I suppose."

Brigit laughed, "I think your right. I tried to pick out things they'd enjoy. I got Brigitte the dress, because all females need a pretty dress no matter the age. The dress was made by one of the foremost dressmakers from Paris. The books I got our son, are the actual myths and stories as they were first written. And for our daughter, she's still a little young, so I figured she'd like all the animals and it will teach her what they are."

Katja smiled, "I'm sure they'll enjoy them. And Aileen loves that came from Santa."

Brigit laughed, "I thought the same, children do need something to believe in. And, the Bishop that started it was a good man. I remember him, he was always trying to do good for people. You can tell Geoff and Brigitte who they're really from if you want, but let Aileen have her fantasies my mates."

Erik smiled, "Thank you love, I wish there was something we could do for you also."

He felt Her smile, "The love of you both, and what you've allowed me do, is more than enough dear ones."

Katja smiled as they sensed She was gone. She hugged Erik's arm as they watched the children. "They look so happy love."

Erik smiled as leaned over to kiss her. "I know, like I told you, this is how the whole year should be. It may take a while, but it will be."

Then he grinned, "Speaking of this time of year, I have something else for you also."

Katja grinned, "Wasn't what you got me enough?"

Erik smiled at her, "Well, this one is directly from me. Ariel helped me with some of the things, like I helped her with some things for Tony." He reached over to the side table and opened the drawer, then took out a small wrapped package.

"Since you're not working anymore, I thought you may like this." He handed it to her.

She sat up and opened the package, then she opened the box that was in it. She smiled as she saw the bracelet. She looked up at him, "It's beautiful love."

Erik smiled, "I thought you might like it. I know most of you don't wear things like that. But like I said, with you not working anymore, I thought this was something you'd wear."

Katja smiled as she took it out to look at it. It was a delicate gold bracelet, with three emeralds on it. She slipped it on and smiled, she hardly felt it on her wrist. "I love it, I can hardly feel it on."

Erik smiled once more, happy that she liked it. When he saw it, he thought she'd like it just for that reason. "I'm glad you like it kitten, I hoped you would. I picked that one because the color reminded me of your fur and the emeralds reminded me of your beautiful eyes. So, I thought I had to get it for you."
