I had to vote, HATE IT because you use the Second Person Narration, which is fine if you are writing a letter to the "you" you're writing about. For a piece of fiction, this point of view does not work. To quote you, "You go into the living room and relax on the couch with the paper." Well, I, as the reader, did not go to the living room and relax on the couch. Yet, that is what you are saying. Perhaps now you can see how stupid it is to use the second-person narrative.
