Mercedes lifted her head, opened her mouth to show us the results, then swallowed dramatically. She licked her lips loudly and everyone laughed. Jules untied me and we embraced.
Jules and I watched and chatted as everyone got dressed. Of course, we remained naked. We walked them to the front door and said our goodbyes. We all had fun, and who knows, there may be a genealogical convention that Jules and I may attend in Fresno.
Everyone kissed, and as they turned, I overheard Joe whisper to Jules, "I found out about the encounter with Micah years ago, but you know what Jules? Micah is a good man, and I deserved that. I was an asshole and did not treat you right. If only I could repeat those years..." his voice drifted off.
Jules' eyes moistened, but she just smiled and did not say a word. The door slowly closed.
