The plot so far is interesting, but unless your goal is to make people laugh hysterically, phrases like "her pink paradise" and "her bodacious core" would be better avoided.

I love a good laugh thrown into a story whether it is to lighten the mood or even if a couple of different species might have a slight language barrier they are working through. It makes everything seem more real just like when someone snorts while laughing or burps by accident. It’s always so annoying when the person in charge is a humorless hardass or wants to appear that way. It happens in stories usually because it mimics real life. I don’t see how anyone is shocked when it takes far longer than it should to get a treaty or trade agreement signed and it is because everyone wants to show they are the hardass that gets things done. I have really been enjoying this story and can’t wait for more.

It's funny that you mention diplomacy -- I have experience on the subject. My comment below can actually be interpreted several different ways, not all of them flattering, lol. As for humorless hardasses, I find them entertaining for their lack of imagination and failure to play the diplomacy game properly. I'm flattered that you've enjoyed the story so much, and I appreciate you! I've almost finished Love Is Alien. At least the first book, I think I'm incapable of writing anything less than a series. Thank you, for bringing an extra ray of light to my day.
