This is a marvelous drama, with excellent characters, and the romantic atmosphere that pervades throughout the story is simply wonderful.

Thanks very much for relating why you liked this story. I enjoyed writing it, and thought it to be one of the better ones. However, I didn't think it was all that well received considering the number of people who voted 2 or 3 stars early on, but I don't know why.
