The story isn't bad but I nearly didn't get that far because of the prejudice in the first three paragraphs. I know some Africans do live in 'mud huts' (my church is connected to a village in Uganda which is like this - and some have visited it) but am also aware of many of the cities. Your rant about me and my people is, I feel, unjustified, and hurtful.

However, just to let you know that Abuja is the current capital of

Nigeria, and not Lagos. Abuja replaced Lagos as Nigeria's capital some

time ago.
