I agree with all of the positive comments from people for chapter one, and they apply here as well. I'd spell the out, but I'm hungry and in a hurry to get the rest of this posted.

Good story, good storytelling, realistic, believable characters that we care for. Humor, warmth, and natural dialog from smart, even some brilliant, but care-able (sorry, not a word, but...) people. Respect, support, self doubt, honest inner and outer dialogs. I can't find a damned thing that is wrong, falls short, or is missing, except more chapter(s). Honestly, this story so far is a solid pleasure to read.

More, more, please, please, and thank you, thank you. I guess I will have to kill time waiting for the next chapter by reading your other work. Darn.
