He told me what they were willing to pay and it was pretty much a top rate for the area. He had done some research and had a feel for what I could get in general for the duplexes and the single units.

"I'll have the lease agreement ready in a couple of days. Rob is finishing it up now and we can pencil in the monthly rate and whether it is furnished or unfurnished then send it to them for review and signature if they want."

"Great. Say have you given it any more thought about my handling the rentals?" Terry asked.

"Betty, I think we need to join the pool that you have from your former work with what I see." Her next months insurance had been paid for with her last week of work.

"I think so. You are giving me a good pay increase anyway so I think we would be fine with that to get the extra coverage. Lance?"

"I'm good with it. If we start having kids then the dental insurance will come in handy and we are reluctant to get dental appointments now due to almost no coverage." He said.

"OK, so if you have time tomorrow, Betty, go ahead and get the coverage started and I want to include Kala and Kenz with it as well."

"They went ahead and let me keep my insurance for the next 30 days since I was giving up so many sick days on the condition that I come back in if the new girl that is taking my place has questions or trouble with anything and that they would pay me for my time. I told them I could do that."

The parts plant is wanting to rent one of the duplexes furnished along with two of the single units furnished to use for folks coming in to help set up the plant equipment and provide training for the new employees. I'm going to set up a separate checking account for the complex."
